
NTA releases the list of ICAR AIEEA PG 2026 exam centres in the official notification. According to the official notification, the students are advised to select any four cities of their choice for ICAR AIEEA PG 2026. Students are advised to fill out the exam centres in the application form near their location.
The exam conducting authorities will try to allot the city of examination to the students in order of the choice made by them in their application form. However, due to administrative reasons, a different city or a nearby area may be allotted. Students need to download their ICAR AIEEA PG exam city intimation slip by logging in with their application number and password, or date of birth. To avoid malpractices and to maintain the sanctity of the exam, NTA releases the ICAR AIEEA PG 2026 admit card just three to five days before the exam. List of ICAR AIEEA PG 2026 Instructions
Students who want to give the ICAR AEEA PG exam 2026 must follow all exam day rules. These rules will help students and make the exam easier for them.
- No student can enter the exam hall after the entry time is over.

The ICAR AIEEA PG examination will be conducted in 89 cities across the country. To enable participation of a large number of candidates seeking admission in Master's degree programmes in AUs in different disciplines of Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Veterinary, Animal Sciences, Agricultural Engineering, Community Science (erstwhile Home Science), Fisheries, Dairy Science and other allied sciences.
Students for 30 percent of seats in Master's degree programmes in AUs are admitted through AIEEA (PG). All (100 per cent) seats of the four ICAR-DUs namely, Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI), National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI) and the Central Institute of Fisheries Education (CIFE) and CAUs, viz. RLBCAU, Jhansi and Dr RPCAU, Pusa are also filled up through the same examination.
Steps to choose ICAR AIEEA Exam centre
Those students who want to select their exam centre should know the steps to be able to do it easily, without needing anyone's help:
- Go to the official portal, i.e. https://exams.nta.ac.in/ICAR/
- Then, while filling the application form, they will be prompted to select four cities, as per their choice.
- It is better to choose cities with the most less distance to your place, so that it takes less time to reach the exam centre.
- Make sure you enter the right information, because if you submit your form, you will not get a second chance to change the centre.
- Mostly, the exam officials allot the preferred centres.

Applicants who face issue that different question paper is displayed on their computer screen in the examination, then they need not worry and immediately inform the investigator or the superviosr who has duty in the exam hall.
The authority will do the needful to get this issue rectified ASAP. In case if the question paper starts then applicants need to ask for more time from the authority and complete the paper as per time allotted.
For postgraduate studies, the ICARPG Scholarship shall be awarded to limited candidates based on merit in this examination as per their overall merit rank and seat availability in different disciplines. Also, the eligible admitted students may be awarded NTS(PG).
There is no provision for direct nomination for admission through ICAR in any Master’s degree programme without qualifying in the ICAR AIEEA (PG) examination.

Candidates declared eligible for registration and choice filling for online counselling by ICAR will only be considered for allocation subject and the Agricultural University. The schedule for online counselling is notified separately on the ICAR website, after the declaration of result. The admission and scholarship will be granted only when the candidate wish to get admission through counselling process, which is held by ICAR AIEEA and shall be awarded only after the completion of Online Counseling.
Candidates who will be declared eligible for registration and choice filling for counselling by ICAR will only be considered for allocation of subject and the Agricultural University. There is no provision for direct nomination for admission through ICAR in any Master's degree programme without qualifying in ICAR AIEEA (PG).

The ICAR AIEEA PG counselling process is expected to be held in the third week of October 2026. This is conducted for students to complete the counselling and choice-filling process for all counselling rounds. Round 1 of the counselling process is held for the seat allotment process.
Candidates reporting for admission through ICAR AIEEA Exam, to the allotted university must have final year/final semester results in hand indicating final OGPA/CGPA or final percentage of marks where grade points are not awarded. Candidates will be required to produce a Provisional Degree Certificate (PDC) /Degree certificate of qualifying graduate examination issued by the university for this purpose. The candidates should note that the university may deny admission in case the PDC is not produced at the time of verification during counselling. No correspondence shall be entertained by the Council in this regard.

Q. Is there direct admission to ICAR AUs through nomination, without qualifying in AIEEA-UG/AIEEAPG/AICE-JRF-SRF(PhD)]?
A. There is no provision of direct nomination for admission through ICAR in any programme without qualifying in AIEEA-UG/AIEEA-PG/AICE-JRFSRF(PhD)].
Q. Can I leave the exam centre before the exam is over?
A. Yes, if candidates are medically unfit to stay till the examination gets over then they will be allowed to leave the exam centre after their test is complete. The time limit to leave the examination centre will be intimidated by the exam authority on the day of the exam.
Q. What documents need to be carried to the ICAR AIEEA UG 2023 exam Centre?
A. Candidates have to carry ICAR AIEEA UG 2023 admit card along with a valid photo ID proof.
Q. Should I carry a paper to the exam hall for doing some rough work?
A. No. Blank Sheets for doing rough work/calculations will be provided to the candidates at the exam centre. All calculations/rough work are to be done only in the Blank Sheets provided at the Centre in the Examination Room/Hall. On completion of the test, candidates must drop these rough sheets along with Admit card and Undertaking in the designated box, as instructed by the invigilator on duty.

ICAR AIEEA Answer key is released with the purpose of allowing exam takers to evaluate their expected scores and to challenge the answer key. However, the process to raise an objection is simple.
- Candidates need to visit the official website of the ICAR Exam.
- Candidates need to click on the objection link by using their login id and password.
- Go through the Answer key and ICAR AIEEA Question paper.
- Candidates need to submit the valid proof to support their objection along with the question number, and then they need to submit the answer key.
Once the ICAR AIEEA Answer key is out, candidates who appeared for the exam get the opportunity for two to three days to raise objections against the provisional answer key.
They need to submit an objection fee along with the valid proof to challenge the answer key. If the objection is valid, there will be changes made accordingly. Also, candidates can calculate their expected ICAR AIEEA score before the result is declared.
If the answer key is out on the official website, then all the exam takers need to visit the official website to go through the answer key to evaluate their expected ICAR Scores. In case candidates want to raise an objection, they need to submit an objection fee of INR 200.
Candidates should know that they will get a total of 120 questions when they appear for the ICAR AIEEA Exam, and they will get a total of 2 hours to complete their exam. The mode of exam is online, a computer-based test, and the language of the question paper is english.
