Interested test takers must fill the form, pay the fees and wait for JNU CUET PG 2025 Merit List. JNU CUET PG 2025 Counselling

JNU CUET PG 2025 Counselling registrataion will be started by the JNU Admission Branch in the third week fo May 2025, tentativley. Candidates who had made JNU as their prefrence university while filling ma king registrations for CUET PG 2025, will be eligible for filling out the JNU PG Counselling form 2025 in the limited interval time and pay the registration fees asked.

Once the JNU CUET PG 2025 Counselling registration is being done, based on the number of seat available and number of candidates applied for the course, JNU admission branch will released the subjects wise JNU CUET PG 2025 merit list in rounds. The JNU CUET PG 2025 first merit list 2025 will be released in the first week of July 2025. JNU PG Counselling Process 2025

Below are the key points that the candidate needs to remember or keep in mind during the counselling process of JNU CUET PG 2025.

Below are the important key points that the candidate needs to remember or keep in mind during the process of CUET PG 2025 Counselling Process:

  • Each university will be releasing separately the rank list for CUET PG 2025 Counselling.
  •  The admission of the candidates in the participating universities of CUET PG 2025 will be based on their ranking and also on the available seats at all the participating universities.
  • The first step in the CUET PG 2025 counselling process is to apply online, followed by an offline meeting.
  • Interested participants must register at the website of their respective participating institution in order to participate in CUET PG counselling 2025.
  • A candidate with a higher CUET PG 2025 cutoff will be given a higher priority than a candidate with a lower cutoff.
  • Upon acceptance into a college and program, students must pay the admission fee.

JNU CUET PG Admission 2025: Courses Offered and Eligibility Criteria

JNU for the academic session 2025-2026 offers PG admission in MA, MSc, MTech, MPD branches. The programmes are being offered in various streams. Students aspiring to do PG courses must know the list of PG programmes offered by JNU and its eligibility criteria here in order to appear in CUET PG exam.

JNU PG Admissions 2025: Deprivation Points

Details of Deprivation points awarded to candidates, as applicable:- Deprivation Points (upto a maximum of 12 points) are given to the candidates of the following categories:
1. A candidate would get separate points for each educational level i.e. 10th/ High School/ Matriculation/ 12th level/ Intermediate, B.A./B.Sc. and M.A./M.Sc. from either a Quartile 1 or Quartile 2 District as given.
2. All Kashmiri Migrants are eligible for grant of 05 (five) deprivation points on production of registration documents from the notified authorities certifying their Kashmiri Migrant Status.
3. All female/Transgender candidates are eligible for deprivation points as per details given below:
NOTE: This benefit of deprivation points will be given only to UG/PG/COP/ADOP programmes except B.Tech., M.Sc. (Biotechnology), M.Sc. (Computational and Integrative Sciences through GAT-B), MBA, DOP and Ph.D programmes.

Documents Required for CUET PG 2025 Counselling

Below is the list of documents that are required by the participating universities from the CUET PG 2025 selected candidates to bring for the Counselling process:

  • CUET PG 2025 Admission form
  • Class 10 mark sheet
  • Class 12 mark sheet
  • Bachelor's degree mark sheet and pass certificate (for PG candidates)
  • CUET 2025 scorecard
  • CUET 2025 admit card
  • Category certificate (if applicable) 

CUET PG 2025 Spot Round

The seats for many of the courses might get vacant because the candidates got upgraded to other courses or might leave the seat, which causes the conduction of one more round, which is called CUET PG 2025 Spot Round/ Spot Counselling/ Spot Round. Those who would not be allotted a seat in the original counselling rounds can participate in the spot counselling by registering on the official websites of the CUET participating institutes. Such candidates will have to participate in the CUET spot counselling rounds by visiting the institutes and getting the documents verified by the institutes' admission officials. Candidates should therefore check the official website of the college.

CUET PG 2025 NTA SCORE

  • The NTA Score of CUET (PG) - 2025 would be valid for admission to the academic year 2025-25 only.
  •  Scores and candidate data would be shared with the University where he/she has applied.
  •  The Score Card will contain separate scores for Domain Knowledge (75 questions) for each courses wherever applicable)
  •  The University can draw the merit list based on total score or only on the score achieved in Part II the Domain Knowledge Section.
  •  Evaluation of multiple-choice questions of all the Test Papers will be carried out using final answer keys and the raw (actual) marks obtained by a candidate will be considered further for computation of the result
    of CUET (PG) 2025.
  •  For multi-shift papers, raw (actual) marks obtained by the candidates in different shifts/sessions will be converted to NTA Score.
  •  The detailed procedure for the compilation of the NTA Score is available on NTA Website and also in the Appendix-IV of the Information Bulletin.

Although NTA, National Testing Agency is the CUET PG 2025 examination conducting body but the CUET PG 2025 Counselling process is not conducted by NTA. As per the previous year trend, candidates can expect the counselling process for CUET PG 2025 will be held separately for different participating universities under CUET PG 2025 Examination. It is expected for this year's counselling process that there will not be any combined counselling process.

JNU CUET PG 2025 Passing Marks?

JNU CUET PG 2025 is conducted annually to facilitate admissions to master's and professional degree courses across 157 subjects in approximately 197 participating colleges. Following the release of exam results, understanding what constitutes a good score or the qualifying marks offers candidates hope for potential admission. The CUET PG Passing Marks for 2025 are not fixed and fluctuate based on the specific course and participating universities. However, based on general trends and analysis, test-takers can find the expected category-wise CUET PG 2025 passing marks below:

JNU CEUT PG 2025 Cut Off
