National Testing Agency will conduct the CUET PG 2027 exam in March next year. The tentative schedule for CUET PG 2027 has been released by NTA on its official website. It is high time that the candidates start preparing for the exam. The candidates can see the important details of CUET PG 2027 on this page.
CUET PG 2027
CUET PG 2027: The National Testing Agency has announced the tentative CUET PG 2027 exam dates on its official website. According to the schedule, the entrance test will be conducted between March 01 and March 25, 2027, in CBT mode. NTA has also announced March 30 and March 31, 2027 as buffer dates for the test. The exams are distributed across 17 days.
With the release of tentative dates, NTA is expected to release the CUET PG 2027 information brochure soon. The CUET PG application link will also be shared along with the bulletin. The candidates are advised to read the CUET 2027 Information brochure to get all the information about the participating universities, courses offered, paper codes and the courses mapped to paper codes.

Full Form of CUET PG
The full form of CUET PG is Common University of Entrance Test (Post Graduate). It is a centralised and common exam conducted to select candidates for the Post Graduate Courses offered by the participating universities. The exam results in a common merit list for each subject, which is considered by the participating universities.
It is the gateway for admission to the Post Graduate Courses in Science, Humanities and Commerce streams in the top Central and State Universities.

CUET PG exam is conducted once a year. The exam was held in March. The CUET PG result 2026 was released on May 23. The participating universities started the Counselling soon.
CUET PG Passing Marks are the scores or marks to be obtained to qualify for admission to the universities. If the candidate wants to know whether they have passed the CUET PG exam or not, they are required to check the cutoff marks released by the participating universities and colleges. After the declaration of the CUET PG result, all participating universities will release the course-wise passing marks or CUET PG cutoff, which will be used for shortlisting candidates for the counselling process.
CUET PG 2027 Eligibility
The NTA will mention all the eligibility criteria in the CUET 2027 information bulletin. The important conditions are given below:
- Candidates must have passed a Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognised institute
- Final year students will also be eligible to apply, provided they pass the qualifying exam before the counselling process
- There is no age limit for applying for the CUET PG exam. However, universities may have separate eligibility criteria regarding age limit or other factors.
CUET PG 2027 Application Form
The NTA will release the CUET 2027 application form with the release of the Information Bulletin. The candidates will get around 30 days to fill the online applications at - https://exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg/. The candidates can select the subject groups based on their Graduation subjects.
After filling the application form, the candidates will be asked to submit the application fee based on their category. We are providing the CUET PG application fee based on the last year's information bulletin.
The NTA will also provide the facility to make corrections in the CUET PG applications in case of any error.

To apply to universities for admission based on your CUET PG scores, you need to follow the process given below.
- Check the eligibility criteria for the universities and courses you are interested in.
- Visit the university website and register for the admission process.
- Upload your CUET PG scorecard and other required documents.
- Pay the application fee.
In case the students are shortlisted for admission, they have to visit the campus to verify their documents and pay the admission fee. The participating universities conduct the admission process separately. Students also need to apply separately for each course, even for the same university. After the declaration of the CUET PG result, students should check the university websites separately to track the counselling dates and events.
Age limit criteria for PU CET UG exam is as follows:
- Candidates must be at least 17 years of age as on December 31 of the year of admission.
- There is no upper age limit for the exam.
For CUET PG there is no age limit for candidates.
Candidates who have passed the UG degree or are appearing in 2026 irrespective of their age can appear in CUET (PG) 2026.
But candidates need to fulfill age criteria of the university.

For admission in Universities through CUET (PG)-2026, the existing policies regarding quota, category, relaxation, reservations, qualification, subject combinations, preferences etc. of the respective University shall be applicable.
As the eligibility criteria for admission may be unique for every University, the candidates are advised to visit the University website to which they are applying for their respective programs. Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess the eligibility criteria laid down by the University they are applying to.
Mere appearance in the Entrance Test or securing pass marks at the test does not entitle a candidate to be considered for admission to the Programme unless he/she fulfils the Programme wise eligibility conditions of the University they are applying to.

There will be over 150 subject exams in the CUET PG. The NTA conduct the exam in three shifts daily based on the exam schedule released by the exam conducting body. The span of examination will be more than 25 days. The NTA will release the date-wise city intimation slip for the candidates as per their exam date. It will be followed by the date-wise admit card release.
CUET PG 2027 Admit Card
The NTA will release the CUET PG 2027 admit card in phases. The candidates will be asked to login to download their CUET PG 2027 admit card. The City Intimation is different from the admit card as it only notifies the city of examination and date of examination.

As per the statistics shared by the exam conducting authority, National Testing Agency, approximately four Lacs candidates appear for the CUET PG every year. Science, Humanities and Linguistics have the highest number of candidates.
Step 1: After adding the exam centre city preferences, candidates will then have to select the University/Programme selection.
Step 2: In this section, candidates are required to select the university name first and then select the programme name. Likewise, candidates can select up to four universities and its allied programmes offered. After adding the university programme choices, save the details and move on to the next sections.
Step 3: In this section, candidates need to add the test details. Add the test paper subject code from the drop-down options mentioned in the window. After adding all the respective test paper codes of the university programme list which was selected in the previous step, save the details.
Total marks of the CUET PG exam is 300. The number of questions in the exam is 75. Each question carries four marks. One mark is removed for each wrong answer. There is a single section. All questions are asked from the subject or paper opted for.
CUET PG 2027 Exam Pattern
