CUET PG Exam Day Guidelines and Instructions

CUET PG 2026 exam day guidelines and instructions are available now. Candidates who are appearing for the CUET PG 2026 March 8 exam must follow the exam day guidelines and instructions. NTA has provided the exam day guidelines for the smooth conduct of the exam. These guidelines comprise instructions like CUET PG exam timing, gate closing time, list of prohibited items, and more. If candidates fail to follow the instruction they shall not be allowed to write the exam. Common University Entrance Test (CUET) PG will be conducted from March 6 to 27, 2026.

Candidates who are appearing for the entrance test must carry the CUET PG admit card and a valid photo ID with them. Avoid carrying unnecessary items to the test centre. The detailed CUET PG exam day guidelines and instructions are provided below.

CUET PG 2026 Exam Day Guidelines

The following points bring the Dos and Don’ts to be followed on the day of the CUET PG 2026.

Early Arrival: Arrive at the exam centre at least 90 minutes before the exam start time. This allows for security checks, settling in, and familiarizing yourself with the exam environment. Latecomers will not be permitted to enter the exam hall.

Reporting Time: Reach the exam center at least 90 minutes before the commencement of the exam. This allows for time for security checks and settling in.
Documents to Carry: Printed Admit Card: Download and print a clear copy of your admit card from the NTA/Samarth PG website. Ensure it's filled in and has a recent passport-sized photograph affixed.
Valid ID Proof: Bring a valid photo ID proof like Aadhaar card, passport, or driver's license.
Additional Photograph: Carry an extra photograph (same as the one on the admit card) to be pasted on the attendance sheet.
Prohibited Items: Electronic Devices: Mobile phones, earphones, calculators, cameras, and other electronic devices are strictly prohibited.
Stationery: Avoid bringing notebooks, pens (except a transparent ballpoint pen), pencils, geometry boxes, or any other writing materials.
Other Items: Food, water, handbags, purses, and any textual material are not allowed.
Dress Code: Dress comfortably and modestly. Avoid wearing clothes with elaborate designs, jewelry, or any items that could be used for unfair means.

CUET PG 2026 Important Instructions

  •  Candidates should take their seats immediately after the opening of the Examination Hall. If the candidates do not report in time due to any reason i.e. traffic jam, train/bus delay, etc. they are likely to miss some of the important instructions to be announced in the Examination Rooms/Halls. NTA shall not be responsible for any delay.
  • The candidate must show, on-demand, the Admit Card downloaded/printed from the NTA website for admission in theexamination room/hall. The Test Centre Staff on duty is authorized to verify the identity of candidates and may take steps to verify and confirm the identity credentials. Candidates are requested to extend their full cooperation. A candidate who does not possess a valid Admit Card and authorized Photo ID shall not be permitted to take the examination under any circumstances by the Centre Superintendent.
  •  A seat indicating Roll Number will be allotted to each candidate. Candidates should find and sit in their allocated seats only. In case a candidate ventures to change his/her seat and does not sit on the seat allotted to him/her could face cancellation of candidature. No plea would be entertained in this regard.
  • The candidate should ensure that the Question Paper available on the computer is as per his/her opted subject indicated in the Admit Card. In case, the subject of the Question Paper is other than his/her opted subject, the same may be brought to the notice of the Invigilator concerned.
  • The candidates may approach the Centre Superintendent/Invigilator in the room for any technical assistance, first aid emergency, or any other information during the course of the examination. For any queries or issues regarding Computer Based Test, the candidates may contact on Helpline Numbers available on Common University Entrance Test website.
  •  In case a candidate, by furnishing false information, appears in more than one shift/date, his candidature will be cancelled and his result will not be declared.
  • For those who are unable to appear on the scheduled date of test for any reason, re-test shall not be held by the NTA under any circumstances.
    Note: Candidates shall appear at their own cost at the Centre on the Date, Subject and timing of Examination as indicated in their CUET PG 2026 admit Card issued by the NTA. Under no circumstances the choice of cities for the Centre and timing of examination provided in the Admit Card shall be changed. 

CUET PG 2026 Exam Day: Additional Tips

  • Get a good night's sleep before the exam.
  • Eat a healthy and light breakfast on the exam day.
  • Try to give a final revision to CUET PG Important topics by going through the weightage- wise importance
  • Carry a transparent water bottle (if allowed by the exam center) for hydration between breaks.
  • Stay calm and focused during the exam.
  • Carefully read the instructions on the question paper and manage your time effectively.
  • Review your answers thoroughly before submitting the final answer sheet.

What Happens if Malpractices found by the Candidates?

The main purpose of this Advisory is to make you aware that the National Testing Agency aims to conduct fair and transparent examinations so that deserving candidates only get the right admissions or jobs. Therefore, it is advisable to refrain from using any Unfair means practices to gain any unfair advantage over other candidates.

1.Kindly note that in many cases;

  1. i) Candidature has been cancelled and candidates have been debarred for 3 years from appearing in the exams.
  2. ii) Criminal proceedings have been initiated in many cases where the candidates have tried to cheat/impersonate/adopt malpractices.
  3. iii) Strict action has also been taken including CBI Inquiry against the wrong-doers.

What if There is a Discrepancy in CUET PG 2026 Admit Card?

In case of discrepancy, students do need to contact exam conducting body immediately. Students should approach NTA Help Line between 10.00 A.M. and 5.00 P.M. NTA mentions, "In such a case, the candidate would appear in the examination with the already downloaded Admit Card. However, NTA will take necessary action to make corrections in the record later."

Hence, candidates need not worry about the possibility of not getting allowed inside the CUET 2026 exam centre. However, they must follow up with the NTA before the commencement of the admissions process.

The National Testing Agency will release the CUET PG 2026 final answer key soon after the declaration of CUET PG result. The candidates should note that the final answer key will be released openly under the public domain.

The CUET PG 2026 result has been released at https://exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg/. The National Testing Agency released the candidates' scorecard and final answer keys with the result.

MBA students who wish to apply for Goel Group of Institutions scholarships through CUET-PG scores will need to secure a rank of 5000 at best.
