Overview

BITSAT Cutoff: BITS Pilani will release the BITSAT 2026 cutoff after the conclusion of the counselling process. The BITSAT cutoff signifies the minimum mark required for admission to the institute for a particular branch. This means, students cannot check the cutoffs after the exam. For now, candidates can access the previous year's cutoff to know what is considered a safe score in BITSAT. The previous year BITSAT cutoff given on this page will help understand the possibilities of getting a seat in the desired course.

Those who obtain equal to or above the cutoff scores have a better chance of getting admission. Admission to BITS Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad campuses is strictly merit-based, determined solely by performance in BITSAT. Moreover, the BITSAT cutoff is different for each course and campus. Eligible candidates must also participate in the counselling and seat allotment process to complete their admission.

BITSAT 2026 Expected Cutoff

While the official cutoff for BITSAT 2026 will be released only after the conclusion of the counselling process, candidates can check here the expected BITSAT cutoff 2026 branch-wise. No other exam scores will be accepted for BITSAT admissions. Students will be considered for admission based on their BITSAT exam scores. However, board toppers will be eligible for direct admission. A separate application process will be open for the board topper direct admission scheme.

Q: How is BITSAT merit list prepared?

BITSAT merit list will be prepared after checking performance of students in exam. Merit list will be released as admit and wait list. Students in admit list will be eligible for admission, while those in wait list will be called in for next round of allotment.

The authority conducts the BITSAT exam in two sessions. The BITSAT 2026 session 1 exam was held from April 15 to 16. The session 2 exam was held from May 25 to 27, 2026. Candidates can appear in any one or both sessions. In case students appear for both the best of the two will be considered.
