The first and the foremost step important for the preparation process is the knowledge of the complete exam pattern. This would help students in saving time during the exam. The CUCET paper is divided in two parts (Part A & B) and each part has a total of 100 questions. The total marks allocated for CUCET is 100 and the total time duration is two hours. 01 mark would be given for every correct answer and as there is negative marking in this exam, 0.25 marks would be deducted for every incorrect answer.

The details of Part A and Part B are given below:

  • Part A consists of 25 questions from topics such as General Knowledge & Aptitude, English, Numerical Aptitude, Reasoning and Data Interpretation
  • Part B consists of 75 questions from subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology

Important Topics for CUCET

Physics

Physics is always considered as the difficult subject as compared to others. Thus, the questions of Physics consumes a lot of time in solving. Clear the basic concepts and practise previous years question papers to score high in this subject.
