IISc Bangalore has conducted IIT JAM 2021 Session I on February 14 (9:30 AM to 12:30 PM). According to the candidates who attempted the exam, the difficulty level of Physics was moderate to tough, while Biotechnology and Mathematics Statistics were moderate. Candidates can now check the detailed student reaction and exam analysis for IIT JAM 2021 Session I here. For the first session, Biotechnology (BT), Physics (PH) and Mathematical Statistics (MS) were conducted by IISc Bangalore. The national level entrance examination was conducted as a computer-based test at various centres across the nation.

IIT JAM 2021 Session I Student Reaction & Exam Analysis

Mansi Rawat, who attempted the Physics paper of IIT JAM 2021 said that paper was moderate to tough in terms of difficulty. There were more questions from EMP, Thermodynamics, Mechanics, Optics and Mathematical type questions. The questions were quite time-consuming. Compared to last year, this year’s paper was more conceptual.

Kareena, who attempted the Biotechnology paper says that there were more questions from Molecular and Biogenetics. The paper had equal conceptual and numerical based questions.

Tanu Sharma, who attempted the Physics paper of IIT JAM 2021 said that there were more questions from Mechanics. She had expected more questions from Advanced Mathematical Physics, but there were more questions from Mechanics instead. There were more conceptual based questions. Numerical questions were average in difficulty.

Anju Kumari who attempted Mathematical Statistics papers says that more questions were from increasing decreasing monotony and sequence and mass functions. There were only 15-20 questions from Maths and the percentage of statistics were more this year. The difficulty level was moderate. According to Anju, the centre also took good care of social distancing.

Rohan Mishra says that the Physics paper was easy but the last section was tough. Concept-based questions were more in number than numerical questions.

Vaishali Yadav, who attempted Mathematical Statistics says that the paper was of moderate difficulty. There were fewer questions from Mathematics and there were more numerical type questions. The sanitation and social distancing measures were well maintained at the centre.

What after IIT JAM 2021?

The official authorities will release the IIT JAM 2021 answer key along with the question papers at the official website. Candidates will be able to check the correct answers to the examination and compare their responses. The probable scores secured by the candidates in the examination can also be calculated by using the answer key. Once the IIT JAM 2021 result is declared, the applications for the admission process will commence for qualified candidates.
