IISc Bangalore has concluded IIT JAM 2021 entrance examination. Session II of IIT JAM 2021 was held from 3 PM to 6 PM as a computer-based test for Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG) and Mathematics (MA). According to the students, Chemistry paper was of moderate difficulty. Candidates who attempted the new Economics paper also deemed the paper of moderate difficulty. IIT JAM 2021 Student Reaction & Exam Analysis

Namrata, who attempted the Chemistry paper says that most of the questions seemed related to Co-ordination Chemistry. Numerical type questions were quite lengthy. The difficulty level was a bit more than what was expected and as compared to the previous year.

Richa, who attempted the Economics paper said that the paper was of moderate difficulty. The paper was well balanced and had all of the topics mentioned in the syllabus. There were one or two questions from each topic in the question paper. The third section was a bit tougher, considering that all of the questions were Mathematics.

Tai Chakma says that the Chemistry paper was moderate and could have been easily solved by those who had studied well. Co-ordination number, Hybridization and Electron Rule questions were there in the paper. Numerical questions from Chemical Kinetics were from 12th standard syllabus. There were a few questions from B.Sc syllabus too. The paper was a mix of conceptual and numerical based questions.

Preeti Singh, who attempted the Chemistry paper says that in Organic Chemistry, there were more questions on names and reactions. In Physical Chemistry, there were less numerical questions as compared to the previous year. The paper was of moderate difficulty but was easier as compared to the previous year.

IIT JAM 2021 Answer Key

The official IIT JAM 2021 answer key will be released soon by the official authorities. Candidates can check the correct answers and calculate their probable scores secured in the examination. The provisional answer key will also open to objections. The final answer key of IIT JAM 2021 will be released after the objections are checked.
