IIT JAM 2021 Last-Minute Preparation Tips

Revision Is The Key

Candidates are advised to allot a good amount of time to revision in their daily study schedule. By revising their studied topics and units regularly, the candidates will be able to remember the syllabus they have completed for the examination. This will also give the candidates a chance to revisit all of those topics in which they face difficulties. Revision is an important part of the last-minute preparation for IIT JAM 2021, and the candidates should definitely not miss it.

Practice Using Mock Tests

Along with revision, candidates should regularly practice using the mock tests of IIT JAM 2021. During preparation, mock tests are a great way to assess their stance before the entrance examination. Through mock tests, the candidates will be able to know the areas in which they are lacking and can focus on working on it so that the same mistakes are not repeated during the entrance exam. By regularly solving mock tests, candidates will also be able to strengthen their time management skills. Candidates can also solve sample papers to know the detailed exam pattern of IIT JAM 2021.

Create Memory Cards

While studying, the candidates are advised to create memory cards filled with concepts and formulas that they have a hard time memorizing. This will allow the candidates to study and revise these particular concepts anytime anywhere they wish to. Candidates will also be able to remember these topics well while preparing these memory cards.

Do Not Start New Topics

During the last minute preparation for IIT JAM 2021, the candidates are advised to not start any new chapters or topics. The main focus during these final moments should be to continuously repeat and revise those topics which have already been studied by the candidates. If the candidates start a new topic during the final week, then it may lead to confusion. Candidates should instead spend this time strengthening the concepts and topics they have already studied so that they can score well in these topics during the exam.

Work On Your Weak Points

Candidates are advised to identify their weak points during this time period and try to work on it so that they do not make mistakes during the examination. By regularly solving mock tests, the candidates will be able to identify the problem areas on which they need to give extra effort. This will allow the candidates to tie up their loose ends and perform well in the examination.

Get Enough Sleep and Stay Healthy

Finally, the candidates are encouraged to have a healthy lifestyle. Sleep is an important factor and the candidates should get enough of it. During this period, the candidates should also eat healthy food and avoid junk food so that they are hale and hearty during the examination. The health of the candidate also severely affects their performance in the examination. To lessen the stress, the candidates are also advised to take short breaks and indulge in extracurricular activities.
