Minimum Marks on Class 12 for CUET
Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is conducted for admission to central universities. Students seeking admission to CUET accepting colleges, they must check the minimum marks in class 12 for CUET. NTA does not prescribe class 12 minimum marks, however, students must check CUET university wise criteria for admission through CUET UG. For admission to Undergraduate courses, candidate must have completed class 12th examinations and scored a minimum marks between 45% to 55% to successfully apply for admissions through CUET.
National Testing Agency has commenced CUET UG 2026 registrations are cuet.nta.nic.in. Students can now fill the online form for CUET till January 30, 2026. Before filling out the application form, candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria, including the minimum marks in class 12th and the CUET subject combinations.
What is Required Minimum Marks in Class 12th for CUET?
National Testing Agency (NTA) does not mention minimum percentage or marks in class 12th for CUET UG. Students who have passed or are appearing for class 12th examinations must check CUET university wise class 12 minimum marks required to qualify for admissions. Candidates can appear for CUET UG examination without any minimum marks restriction, however, applicant must check the CUET university admission criteria prescribing minimum marks, percentage or CUET subject requirement.
Class 12 marks are important for fulfilling the admission criteria and tie breaking criteria (if any) during admissions. Admission to Central Universities are conducted through CUET scores, however, candidates must fulfil the minimum marks requirement for admissions.
For admission to Delhi University, candidate must have passed or appeared for class 12 examination. There are no minimum marks requirement in class 12 for DU admission through CUET UG. DU may use the class 12 marks or percentage for tie breaking criteria.

National Testing Agency (NTA) will commence the CUET UG 2026 registrations at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates desirous of taking admission to University/college through CUET must fill the application form before the deadline. On the release of the CUET notification, important dates for CUET 2026 will be announced. CUET 2026 application process will be in online mode. Candidates will be required to fill the application form, upload documents and pay the application fee in online mode only. CUET is a gateway to more tahn 250 universities across India for its UG courses.

The choice of language/domain subject and General test will depend upon the course and university. Candidates will be able to opt for one or more tests as per the requirement of the course and university from the following sections:

- Section II - 23 Domain Specific Subjects
- Section III - General Test
Candidates can apply for CUET exam 2026 till January 30, 2026. NTA has released the CUET application form 2026 online at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates must make sure to register for CUET exam and select appropriate CUET subjects to be eligible for admissions. CUET UG application form 2026 commenced on January 03.

To prepare for CUET Mathematics exam effectively, students must ideally give two to three hours practice. Students must focus on previous year qiuestion papers and mock tests to prepare well for exam. Daily practice and consistency will help candidate score 250 marks in exam.

Yes, NCERT is sufficient for conceptual clarity while preparing for CUET exam, but MCQ practice and CUET mock tests are important for scoring high. Students must not only focus on preparation books, they must solve CUET previous year question papers for Mathematics to know important topics or repeat

No, a valid CUET score is accepted for admissions to both BA (Hons) in Liberal Arts & Humanities and the BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Politics & Economics at JSLAH.
In the previous year admissions, CUET was only listed as an accepted exam for the BA (Hons) in Liberal Arts & Humanities admission.
