NEST 2026 Exam Highlights
Applicants who want to appear in NEST exam, need to download the admit card to appear in the examination. Applicants are required to first check whether they are using recommended browser or not for downloading the NEST 2024 admit card. After that they also need to have an active internet connection at their place before downloading the admit card.
Students need to enter user ID & password followed by entering Captcha if mentioned on the login portal. After entering these details the admit card will be opened in a new window, now save the copy for future reference.
The hall ticket of NEST 2024 will be released by NISER, Bhubaneswar and UM–DAE CEBS, Mumbai. The admit card will be released in online mode. Applicants who have successfully filled the application form will be able to download the admit card by entering login credentials. i.e user ID & pwd.

NEST 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must go through the NEST Eligibility Criteria before they appear for the NEST 2026 Exam.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates who passed their Class 12 in 2024 or 2026 are eligible to appear for the exam, and those who are going to appear with the Science stream are also eligible.
- Minimum Marks: Candidates who belong to the General/OBC category should get 60 per cent marks aggregate, and candidates who belong to the SC/ST/PwD category must get 55 per cent marks.
- Age Limit: Candidates who belong to General/OBC and are born on August 1, 2004 or after this date are eligible. There is a five-year relaxation for SC/ST/PwD category candidates.
- Subjects: Students must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics in their Classes 11 and 12.
Note: Only students who fulfil the NEST 2026 eligibility criteria are allowed to appear for the exam.
NEST 2026 Application Process
The NEST Application Process is going to start in February 2026, tentatively. Those who fulfil the eligibility criteria for the NEST 2026 Entrance Exam only they will be eligible to complete the NEST 2026 Application Process.
Application Fees
Applicants who have forgotten the login details of the NEST exam admit card first check their mobile/email id as after registration a message comes from the authorities.
Candidates can also recover the password of their NEST 2024 account, by clicking on the 'Forgot Password' button at the bottom of the login window. This password will be sent to the NEST 2024 registered email of the candidate. By clicking on the link applicants can recover their password and after that they can download their admit card
The exam conducting authorities will release the admit card at least two week before the commencement of the exam. The NEST hall ticket will mention following details of the applicants

NEST 2026 Answer Key

No, it is mandatory for candidates to carry a hard copy of the NEST 2024 admit card on exam day as required by the invigilator for exam attendance formalities.
No electronic gadgets i.e Mobile, calculator, laptop will be allowed to take in the examinational hall hence students can't show the NEST 2024 admit card in mobile to the exam conducting authorities during exam. Applicants need to carry original id, photo copy of admit card and pen/pencil to the examination hall only.
