UPCATET PhD first counselling commences; candidates can upload documents
UP Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test 2026 ( UPCATET )
The UPCATET 2020 first PhD counselling session is underway and shortlisted students are required to upload their online documents.
The Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test (UPCATET) first counselling for PhD courses has commenced from December 10 onwards and students who have been shortlisted for admission to PhD courses offered at the four varsities accepting UPCATET scores. The PhD UPCATET exam was conducted on August 20, 2020, and the results were released on September 9, 2020. Aspirants who have registered for the counselling session, are required to upload their documents on the official website of UPCATET. The option to upload the UPCATET documents is available only on December 11 to December 15.
The online fees submission of the PhD first counselling commenced from December 10 onwards and the option will be available till December 14, 2020. Here is the schedule for the UPCATET counselling details which is as follows:

The documents that are required to be uploaded in the online counselling round is as follows:
| Downloaded copy of the online application form duly attested by Registrar/ Principal/ Dean of last attended college/ institution |
Attested photocopies of Class X and XII certificates and mark sheets |
| Original and attested photocopies of marks sheets and certificates of Bachelor and Master Degree courses |
Domicile certificate of Uttar Pradesh state issued by the competent authority |
| Original copy of sport weightage certificate |
Original copy of character and conduct certificate from the Head of last attended college/ institution |
| Five passport size photographs with name and roll number written on the back |
Original copy of OBC category certificate issued after March 31, 2020 or valid on counselling date |
| An affidavit accounting for discontinuity of more than three months after leaving the college/ institution last attended |
Original copy of transfer/ migration certificate |
| Two bank drafts of Rs 500 (as counselling fee) and Rs 5,000 (as initiation fee) |

After the UPCATET exam is over, the exam officials release the cutoff on the official portal. Students who clear the cutoff become eligible to participate in the counselling process. Students need to visit the official portal to check out their UPCATET Cutoff.

Those who wish to give the UPCATET exam must score a minimum of 20 per cent if they come from the General category, and for SC/ST, the cutoff is 10 per cent.
