It is one of the best colleges for science courses. Faculty members are very good.

Placements: There is no such option of getting direct placements after passing at this college. However, you can get placed on your own. Most of the students pursue PhD from different prestigious universities of India or foreign countries. They can join the field of research work or teaching field as a professor in colleges or universities. For further details, you can contact the Visva Bharati admission cell. In every summer internship session, many students get the chance in IISERs, NIUS, BARC, ISRO, etc., to do internships.

Infrastructure: There is a huge central library and Shiksha Bhavan library for students. All labs are equipped with high technologies. All the classrooms are neat and clean. There is also an auditorium hall for conducting cultural programs. There is a separate hostel for both boys and girls. There are almost 14 hostels for boys and almost 10 hostels for girls. The infrastructure of the buildings is pretty good.

Faculty: Our course is research-oriented, so we have to do summer research work every year. Our course provides huge opportunities. Faculty members in our college are very friendly and helpful. They always help us to solve our problems. Their teaching quality is good, but the problem is that there is a shortage of faculty. But we have teachers from other departments, who conduct frequent classes for us. In this course, students get many opportunities to do their best in research and development.

Other: Our college is the right place for students who want to live their life not only to earn money but also to serve the country in the science field. Some of our seniors are pursuing their PhD from IISER Bangalore, IISER Kolkata, IACS, many IITs, NITS, America, Germany, Spain, etc. If you are in the top position on your respected board in the HS exam, then you can apply for the DST Inspire scholarship. You will get Rs. 60,000 per year, along with Rs. 20,000 if you do your summer internship. Many cultural programs are conducted by our university every year, like Holi, Posh Utsav, and Rabindra Jayanti. This place has great respect regarding cultural aspects, and many great places are available in our university.

Review of Visva Bharati University.

Placements: Since our course is research-oriented, there are not many opportunities in the normal sectors. But we have many opportunities to do PhD at reputed universities in India or abroad. Many of our seniors (approximately all) are currently doing their PhD at Cornell University, IISc, IIT Bombay and other reputed institutions.

Infrastructure: The labs are well-equipped with new instruments. Our department is DST and DBT funded, so we get additional equipment every year. We have a central library and also a departmental library. Hostels are very good. The mess is good enough. We have various sports and games and cultural activities. A canteen is available. Medical facilities are available.

Faculty: Our course is research-oriented, so we have to do summer research work every year, and it is a very big opportunity. Our faculty members are very friendly and helpful. They always help us to solve our problems. Teaching quality is very good, but the problem is that there is a shortage of faculty. But we have teachers from other departments, who take frequent classes for us. In this course, students get many opportunities to do their best in research and development.

Other: The best thing about the course is that we get various opportunities to represent our thoughts to the science community. We also have a seminar room and a YouTube channel. Library, hostel, mess, etc., facilities are more than sufficient to support us.

ISERC Shantiniketan is one of the best colleges for science. Faculty members are very good.

Most of the students pursue PhD from different prestigious universities of India or foreign countries. They can join the field of research work or teaching field as a professor in colleges or universities. For further details, you can contact Viva Bharati admission cell.

Infrastructure: There is a huge central library and Shiksha Bhavan library for students. All labs are equipped with high technologies, and all the classrooms are neat and clean. There is also an auditorium hall for cultural programmes. There is a separate hostel for both boys and girls. There are almost 14 hostels for boys and almost 10 hostels for girls. The infrastructure of the buildings is pretty good.

Faculty: Different teachers are available for every subject. Sometimes some guest lecturers from foreign universities visit our college to conduct lectures. Our HOD named Subrata Sinha sir is very helpful, and he is our physics teacher. He completed his research work in molecular physics from IACS. Along with the teachers, our seniors are also very helpful. If you have any doubt, you can immediately approach them. It is a five years integrated M.Sc course. In the first two years, you have to study all the science subjects with Tagore studies and English. Then from the third year, you can choose one major subject for your future studies. The entire fifth year is allotted for project work. After completing all exams, you will get an M.Sc degree with one major subject.

Other: Students who want to live their life not only for earning money but also to serve the country in the science field, our college is the right place for them. Some of our seniors are pursuing their PhD from IISER Bangalore, IISER Kolkata, IACS, many IITs, NITs, America, Germany, Spain, etc. If you are in top position in your respected board in H.S exam, you can apply for DST Inspire scholarship. Placements: From ISERC, Visva Bharati, most of the students are well-placed outside India for pursuing their higher studies in science since ISERC gives each student a chance to explore their interest in terms of internships and long-term projects at national and international institutes. So, a student of ISERC, Visva Bharati has an edge over normal B.Sc and M.Sc students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of ISERC, Visva Bharati is composed of well-maintained laboratories of physics, chemistry and biology. A special section is provided for research in computational mathematics. Since it is a new institute, it is still in a growth process. A big auditorium is there to perform official and cultural events. The Siksha Bhavan library comes inside the ISERC, Visva Bharati building. Hence, an enthusiastic and dedicated student will definitely enjoy here. Food is an issue at this place as to get quality food, one has to roam a lot.

Faculty: Permanent faculty members of ISERC, Visva-Bharati is composed of 8 teachers. Each of them is well-qualified. To supplement any additional expert in particular area, visiting and guest faculty members from renowned institutes have always been arranged. Scientists and researchers from Institutes like Institue of Physics, Calcutta University, Jadavpur University, Department of Physics, Visva Bharati and other good institutes always have their role in the course of ISERC, Visva Bharati.

Other: ISERC has a total of 21 seats and it provides an integrated M.Sc degree. Since the number of students in one batch is comparatively lower than other departments, so sometimes, a student faces loneliness and lack of some of the experiences which are easily available in an institute of a larger batch strength. But, the lower batch strength has its positive points also like teachers can give special attention to each and every student of ISERC, Visva Bharati. One most important thing is that most of the students of ISERC, Visva Bharati are provided prestigious INSPIRE fellowships by DST, Govt. Of India which is itself an achievement.
