RIE CEE Colleges 2026: The exam conducting body, the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) conducts the Regional Institute of Education Common Entrance Examination. It is one of the most popular BEd entrance exam conducted to shortlist candidates for BEd / BSc BEd / BA BEd along with PG courses such as MSc BEd and MEd courses. After completing the course and getting shortlisted for the course, candidates will be selected for the colleges. The Regional Institute of Education Common Entrance Examination (RIE CEE) is a national-level entrance test conducted annually by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). The examination is held for admission to teacher education programmes offered by Regional Institutes of Education across India. Through RIE CEE, students can apply for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Qualifying for the examination can help aspirants pursue a career in teaching and education.

RIE CEE exam includes the listed section with the decided marking scheme.

  • Language Proficiency (English or Hindi) (20 questions)
  • Teaching Aptitude (30 questions)

The total number of question will be 80 and the candidates will be given 120 minutes to complete the exam.
