RIE CEE 2025 Counselling: Check Dates(OUT), Seat Allotment, and Procedure

Candidates who have cleared the RIE CEE exam have to follow the listed steps.

Generation of the Rank List: Candidates must upload their qualifying marks on the official website to the respective RIEs before the result declaration. It is important for the timely updation of the marks. Only for those candidates, the ranks will be generated. If the candidates haven’t uploaded the marks or incorrect marks, they will be disqualified.

Provisional List of Selected/Waitlisted Candidates: Every RIE releases the provisional list of the selected and waitlisted candidates individually. The list is released based on the candidate’s rank, vacant seats, and State/UT quota. Candidates can check the list on the official website of the respective RIE. Candidates would lose their seats if the uploaded marks don’t match the original marks.

Seat Allotment: Candidates must report to the allotted RIE as per the released counselling schedule. They must also carry the original documents and copies to the campus. The seat will be allocated after the verification of the documents.

Fee Payment: They must pay the required admission fee after the admission is confirmed successfully. Candidates must keep the fee receipt copy with them after paying the amount successfully.

The four-year integrated programme integrates general studies in social sciences, humanities (content courses at par with those of undergraduate liberal programmes in arts), and professional studies comprising foundations of education, pedagogy of school subjects, technology in education, and practicum related to tasks and functions of a school teacher. It maintains a balance between theory and practice, coherence and integration among the components of the programme, representing a wide knowledge base of a secondary school teacher. The programme aims to prepare teachers for the upper primary and secondary stages of education. The students may opt for one Language and two Social Science subjects as an option to enable them to become TGT (Social Science) and TGT (Language). Through CEE 2025, candidates will get the opportunity to get admission in the BA BEd in any of the RIEs at Bhubaneswar and Mysuru.

The four-year integrated programme integrates general studies in science (content courses at par with those of undergraduate liberal programmes in science), and professional studies comprising foundations of education, pedagogy of school subjects, technology in education, and practicum related to tasks and functions of a school teacher. It maintains a balance between theory and practice, and coherence and integration among the components of the programme, representing a wide knowledge base of a secondary school teacher. The programme aims to prepare science and mathematics teachers for the upper primary and secondary stages of education. The four-year integrated course is
designed in view of the latest research and experiments in the field of education. Besides having the latest knowledge in content areas, the teacher trainees become well-versed in pedagogy, technology, and communication skills, which are integrated throughout the duration of the course. Through CEE2025, candidates will get the opportunity to get admission in BSc BEd, in any one of the RIEs at Bhubaneswar and Mysuru.

Seats available for BSc BEd (Physical & Biological Science)

This is an integrated programme of Teacher Education leading to the post-graduate degree (MScEd) in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry to prepare senior secondary school teachers of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics without any option of intermediate exit before completing six years of study. The programme is of a six-year duration, organised on a semester pattern. Each semester consists of 16 weeks of instruction, excluding examinations. The course contents related to Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are equivalent to the course content in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics included in the syllabus for the same subjects in BSc (PCM) and MSc (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) of the University of Mysuru. The course content related to educational components in MScEd is equivalent to that of the BEd of the University of Mysuru. This degree is equivalent to the MSc and BEd degrees of the University of Mysuru. The students who pass this programme are considered eligible to pursue a PhD degree in their respective areas in compliance with the PhD regulations of the University of Mysuru. This programme is currently offered only in RIE, Mysuru. Through CEE 2025, candidates from all over the country will have an opportunity to get admission to this programme in RIE, Mysuru.

Seats available for MSc BEd (PCM)

The BEd-MEd (Integrated) programme is a three-year full-time professional programme in education, without any option of intermediate exit before completing three years of study. It aims at preparing teacher educators and other professionals in education, including Curriculum Developers, Educational Policy Analysts, Educational Planners and Administrators, School Principals, Supervisors, and Researchers in the field of education. The completion of the programme shall lead to an integrated BEd-MEd. degree with specialisation in either elementary education or secondary and senior secondary education. This programme is currently offered only in RIE, Bhopal. Through CEE 2025 candidates from all over the country will have an opportunity to get admission to this programme in RIE, Bhopal.

Seats available for BEd-MEd (3 Year)

The two-year Bachelor of Education programme, generally known as BEd, is designed based on the recommendations of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). This is a professional programme that prepares teachers for upper primary or middle level (classes VI-VIII), secondary level (classes IX-X) and senior secondary level (classes XI-XII) for applicants with post-graduation. The curriculum is designed to integrate the study of Subject Knowledge, Human Development, Pedagogical Knowledge, Technological and Communication Skills. This programme specifically provides quality teachers for secondary schools in Science, Mathematics, Language and Social Sciences. The candidates admitted to this programme can opt for either Science and Mathematics or Social Science and Languages. This entitles them to become efficient teachers of Science/Mathematics or Social Science/Language. The programme is designed in such a way that the students will be well versed in content, pedagogy and technology. Through CEE 2025, candidates will get the opportunity to get admission in BEd in any one of the RIEs at Ajmer, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, Mysuru and North East Regional Institute of Education (NERIE), Shillong.

The Master of Education (MEd) is a two-year professional programme in the field of teacher education, which aims at preparing teacher educators and other professionals in education, such as Curriculum Developers, Educational Policy Analysts, Educational Planners and Administrators, School Principals, Supervisors, and Researchers in the field of education. The completion of the programme shall lead to an MEd degree with specialization in either elementary education or secondary education. Through CEE 2025, candidates will get the opportunity to get admission in MEd in any one of the RIEs at Ajmer, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, and Mysuru.
