Good academic life and a better work life.
Placements: Bachelor of Foreign Languages serves as a course that not only offers an extremely detailed curriculum but also very attractive placements. Usually, most of the students from the department get placements right after their course finishes, and the rest pursue higher studies. The companies like Datamark, Amazon, and TCS recruit talented students with packages of around 6 LPA to 8 LPA. The course offers great internship opportunities as well as remote job opportunities.
Infrastructure: The best thing about AMU is how affordable it is and yet does not lack in providing all the required facilities. The Wi-Fi is available in departments as well as hostels. There is a public library which is open till 2 AM in the morning and reopens at 6 AM. There are computer labs, common rooms, study rooms, open reading areas, gym and yoga rooms in hostels. The food quality is good considering we pay only 1500 per month for it, the hostel fee is around 1000 a year. And we have scholarships for students who are financially weak. There are canteens in all hostels. A safe and comfortable environment is provided.
Faculty: The teachers of our department are highly educated and well-educated individuals; all of them have intrinsic knowledge of their field. They are also very good at their job and they make sure the students not only study, but get good jobs. The exams are moderately tough, questions are asked from the syllabus, and sufficient study materials are provided along with flexibility in internals.
Other: I chose this course as I was interested in foreign languages in general. French has great opportunities, and AMU has tie-ups with universities and companies, to ensure a safe work life. The department was inaugurated in 2015, we are always improving to the best of our limits. Of course, some work needs to be done on the infrastructure and curriculum, but the teachers are working towards it, and are willing to listen to students. The crowd of AMU is focused and extremely smart, there is always good competition. But no hostility at all, extremely helpful seniors who go to great lengths to help us. There is a Cultural Education Club which has clubs for debating, drama, music, etc. Naseeruddin Shah, a great actor, is a product of the same drama club and university.

Qualified Faculty with Good student facilities.
Placements: AMU's B.A. Hons French program provides solid placement support; about 70% of graduates get jobs. The highest package can go up to 14 LPA, while the average is around 5-6 LPA. Renowned companies like Google and IBM recruit. Students get internships after their 2nd year. Top roles after this course are language specialist and translator.
Infrastructure: The Foreign Language Department's infrastructure is great, with Wi-Fi, seminar rooms, and good classrooms. The Maulana Azad Library is resourceful but often overcrowded. Hostel facilities are average, with basic amenities. However, the food quality in the mess is disappointing and needs improvement. Medical facilities are reliable, and there are ample sports and games options.
Faculty: The faculty in the Department of Foreign Languages are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and generally helpful, which ensures good teaching quality. The curriculum is relevant and aims to make students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately challenging, with a high pass percentage in exams.

A mixed bag of pros and cons.
Placements: Limited placements are about 30% but good packages. The Highest package is 8LPA, the Lowest package is 2LPA and the average package is 4LPA. The top Recruiters included language Institutes and embassies. 25% secured internships in translational firms and cultural centres. But diverse roles- translation, teaching, and diplomacy.
Infrastructure: AMU B.A. Hons French course facilities are average. Wi-Fi is good, labs need updates, classrooms are decent, and the library lacks resources. Hostel conditions are below average, food quality is horrendous. Cleanliness in hostels is a major issue dogs come inside hostels. Medical facilities are limited, Sports and games are available.
Faculty: B.A. Hons French: Teachers vary in attitude and qualifications. Teaching quality is consistent. The curriculum has potential but lacks industry focus. Semester exams are challenging, pass percentage okay. The issue with attitude, marks and syllabus completion needs attention.

Good Education But Bad Hostel facilities.
Placements: Amu's B.A. Hons French course had a placement rate of 40%. The highest package is around 6LPA, The lowest was 2.5LPA, and the average was 3.5LPA. Top recruiters included language training centers and international schools. About 30% secured internships with organizations like Alliance Francaise and translation agencies. Top roles included Language instructor, translator, and content writers.
Infrastructure: Facilities in my hostel are decent. Wi-Fi is available, classrooms are good, and a very good library. However, Hostel restrictions and rude warden affected the overall experience. The quality of food in mess was just for survival canteen is good and affordable. Medical facilities are available. Rigid outing timings is a notable issue.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and talented but had scheduling issues. Teaching quality is good overall. The curriculum is relevant but more practical and development skills would help as this is a foreign language course. Semester exams depend on your preparation and practice.

The AMU is not just a university. It is an Idea. It don't only place students in companies.
Placements: The placement ratio is far better than any other university in India. Here, we have a tie-up with many different countries' universities like Russia and France. The students studied here are doing a job in both embassies in France and India. The delegates from Kazakhstan have signed a bilateral relationship with AMU and their best university. Students would probably be start migration from both countries in few months, also, France.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very beautiful as it is one of the oldest universities in India. The modern technology has been continuously improving and applied over the huge campus. Wi-Fi connection is also there in very good state than other universities in India. AMU has got the 2nd rank in India in every manner.
Faculty: All the advanced technologies are being used to teach here. We have projector classrooms with AC. The experienced teachers studied in various other countries. The new credit system introduced only in AMU is the best learning resource. The new building is being ready for more expansion of the department with high-class education facility. We have well-furnished seminar rooms here.
Other: The students are mostly conservative here. But, the lake of reformist isn't less even. CCE club is the best for extracurricular activity. But, lobbyism is worst thing here. A little hooligans are also here to interrupt, but administration well knows how to handle them. We have AMU old boys association over 125 countries.
