Aligarh Muslim University offers a full-time BSc course at the undergraduate level. Candidates seeking admission to AMU for BSc must visit the official website of the University to apply online. AMU BSc admission is completely entrance-based. Depending upon the BSc specialisation chosen by a candidate, the admission is provided based on candidates' marks in either AMU Entrance Exam or CUET-UG. Based on the entrance exam scores, AMU will release a merit list of selected students. As a final step, selected students need to pay the admission fee to confirm their seats.

Final selection for most of the UG and PG courses via CUET is based on candidates' performance in the counselling round. Yes, Aligarh Muslim University admission to most of the courses is based on CUET scores. Admission to AMU undergraduate courses including  BSc (Hons.) Community Science, BA (Hons/Research), BVoc in Production Technology, Polymer and Coating Technology and Fashion Design & Garment Technology and BSc (Hons/Research) is completely based on valid Central University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) scores. From the academic session 2022, all the central universities along with a few state-deemed universities and private universities started accepting CUET scores for admission to their UG and PG courses.
