Great education and infrastructure at very good price.
Placements: The course witnessed diverse placements, averaging around 70 to 75%. The salary packages varied, with the highest being 6-8 LPA, the lowest at 4 LPA, and an average of 4-5 LPA. Recruiters such as ISRO, Google, and environmental firms actively hire from this course. There are abundant internship opportunities available with organizations like WWF, Geographic Information Systems, and research institutes. The roles offered encompass GIS Specialists, Urban Planner, and Environmental Analyst.
Infrastructure: The Department of Geography Building is very beautiful and modern, with lots of greenery and plants on the campus. Classrooms lack air conditioning, but labs are very modern, equipped with the best available equipment for students. The hostel is conveniently located near the college. Food quality varies at times; however, the canteen offers good and affordable food. Medical services are available at JNMC, and sports options exist both in the college and the hostel.
Faculty: Some of the best professors at AMU are in the geography department, excellent at teaching and supporting students. The professors are truly hardworking. The teaching quality is awesome, and the course curriculum is relevant and updated as per NEP. The semester exams are difficult because the professors teach really well.
Other: I chose this college because of its affordable and quality education.

Average infrastructure giving average experience.
Placements: Amu's B.Sc. Hons. Geography batch witnessed a 55 percent placement rate and package range: the highest is INR 6 LPA, the lowest is INR 2.8 LPA, and the average is INR 4.5 LPA. Recruiters Maps, Tata Environment, etc. are recruiting companies. 30 percent of students secured internships at ISRO, Geospatial Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Top roles included GIS analyst, urban planner, and researcher.
Infrastructure: Amu's Geography course offers decent facilities—Wi-Fi and labs are good; the library is good and resourceful; the seminar library, however, is only open to research students. Hostel and mess food need improvement. Canteen options are good. Medical facilities are accessible. Sports amenities are available. There is average infrastructure for average experience.
Faculty: Amu's geography faculty was knowledgeable and helpful. The teaching quality was decent. Curriculum relevance varies, but it has some industry elements. Semester exams were medium; the pass percentage was 33 percent in both sessional and semester exams. Overall, good learning experience.

Our college is good in terms of education.
Placements: Our course doesn't provide placement opportunities. Companies won't visit our college to recruit students. Students won't get internships from our course. Many companies visit our college to recruit students of other courses.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department is good. Our college building consists of 3 floors including the ground floor. Wi-Fi facility is available for all students. The lab is good for practicals. Classrooms are well-furnished and well-structured. A huge library is available in our college. The hostel facilities are average. The food served in the mess is good. Our college provides sports, medical, and games facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well-qualified. They are doctorates and post-doctorates. The teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant. It provides good exposure in many fields. Semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage is more than 80%.
Other: I opted for this course because I wanted to gain knowledge related to geography. The best thing about this course is that we get answers to all the natural phenomena that occur in day-to-day life.

It has a beautiful campus with good facilities. Faculty members and placements are satisfactory.
Placements: Students who complete B.Sc. (Hons.) in Geography from AMU generally pursued higher education. The training and placement department regularly provides information on internship and employment opportunities. AMU alumnus coordinates with the training and placement office to educate and deliver seminars on employment and training.
Infrastructure: AMU is famous for its beautiful campus and state-of-the-art labs, libraries, etc. In women's college geography and geology, labs are well-equipped. The department of geography has separate labs. Every hostel has its own reading room, games facilities, mess, common room, etc. Women's college offers medical services within campus. Groceries and other necessities are available. It also has a swimming pool, bookstore, extracurricular activities, etc.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful. But it also depends on how much the student is eager to learn. Faculty members are highly qualified. The course curriculum is standard, and exams are of medium-level difficulty. There is strict marking, and we cannot score high marks. Rather they focus on skill development.

It is an average college, but there are no placements.
Placements: The college doesn't provide any direct placements. It is basically a Hons course, and if you are really interested in taking the course, make sure that you have a plan for further continuing with M.Sc. You can always apply for government jobs after completion of your degree.
Infrastructure: The campus is present in the centre of the university. It is near Maulana Azad Library. Classrooms are good. There is a computer lab, seminar hall, library and labs. There are a library and canteen at the backside of the department. Football and basketball courts are also available near the department.
Faculty: Faculty members of the department are well educated, but some of them aren't well versed with the teaching method. Almost 60% of attendance is mandatory. Some teachers are really helpful in every activity. The course curriculum is not hectic, and you can do various extracurricular activities simultaneously.
