AMU has a pre-defined set of eligiblity criteria for admission to the various BSc specialisations that it provides. The eligibility crietra vary across the specialisations. In general, a candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% in Class 12 with relevant Science subjects to be eligible for BSc admission at AMU. Aligarh conducts its own entrance exam to select candidates for its MBA programme. Candidates interested in taking admission to the MBA programme at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) must take the AMU entrance exam for MBA admission and should try to perform well in it. There is no such provision for direct admission to any of the programmes offered at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). For undergraduate admission to courses, including BA (Hons), BVoc and BSc (Hons) through CUET-UG, candidates must have a valid CUET-UG score. For BA (Hons) admission, candidates must have to attempt the Domain/ General/ Languages sections of CUET while appearing for the entrance test along with the minimum eligibility criteria set by AMU. Final selection for most of the UG and PG courses via CUET is based on candidates' performance in the counselling round. AMU cutoff 2023 has been released in the form of firm lists on the official website at results.amucontrollerexams.com. Candidates seeking AMU admission can check their results on the mentioned website. AMU has released firm lists for a total of six courses for admission through CUET scores, these courses are BA (Hons) Boys, BA (Hons) Foreign Languages, BA (Hons) Girls, BSc (Hons) Boys, BSc (Hons) Community Science and BSc (Hons) Girls. The University has released upto two firm lists for all courses except BA (Hons) Foreign Languages, for which third round of firm list has been released.

AMU MBBS cut off 2023 is based on NEET scores and finally on NEET Counselling. NEET 2023 Counselling has been released up to Round 4. The university also offers BDS courses. The counselling for BDS has been concluded after Round 5. The placement scenario at the Faculty of Law, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) presents a mixed outlook. Here are key points regarding placements at the university:

Positive Aspects:

1. The highest salary package offered at the university ranges between 9 LPA - 10 LPA.
2. AMU has a dedicated training and placement cell that plays a crucial role in facilitating the smooth execution of placement drives conducted by various companies.
3. Some of the prominent recruiters, include Cognizant, KiwiTech, and LTI Spark.

Challenges:

1.  The placement rate at the university is relatively lower, with only around 30-40% of students securing placements.

The AMU BSc in Biochemistry curriculum is designed in a way to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the chemical processes within living organisms. For Aligarh Muslim University BTech admission, students are required to pass Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50% in English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates with a minimum aggregate of 50% in a Diploma in Engineering are also eligible for BTech admission at AMU. 

Aligarh Muslim University BTech admission is based on AMUEEE. This process can only be conducted in online mode. Following the entrance exam, candidates must register for the AMUEEE counselling. Candidates who secure the cut-off ranks decided by the university for various counselling rounds will be allotted seats for BTech at the university.

The highest package offered to the BA LLB batch in recent placements has not been released yet. However, the median package offered during 2022 placements is available in the NIRF report 2023. During 2022 placements, the median package for BA LLB stood at INR 12.30 LPA. Earlier, the median package offered during 2021 placements was INR 10.20 LPA.
