Thought the college was huge and a lot to explore, but it is a small campus of 13 acres.
Placements: 48 LPA is the highest package this year; some got above 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Microsoft, Amazon, AWS, etc. The average package was 9-10 LPA. Many top recruiting companies are there to recruit. 80-90 percent of students got internships in our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and labs are very good, but when it comes to the hostel, it is not as good as the classes and labs for 1st years. There are no common washrooms. We should clean our own rooms, which is good. But the hostels are far better than others I've seen in my intermediate.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also very good. The course is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. There will be weightage for semester exams. For the total 100 marks, there will be 60 internal and 40 external. The 60 includes mid-term marks, quizzes, assignments, etc. The end semester marks are 40, which we have to write for 50 or 100 marks, and they convert it into 40 marks.
Other: The campus crowd is so less as it is a small campus. Some people say that there will be no events, fests in Amrita, but it's not true. We do have events and fests, and there are auto shows and automobile stunt events. Every festival will have an event with it.

Placements are good but you can't experience a proper college life.
Placements: This year almost 40% of the students have been placed till now. The highest package is 26 LPA, and the lowest is 3.3 LPA; the average is 10 LPA. Amazon, Palo Alto, Optum, Cognizant, and TCS are some of the companies that hire here. Around 20% of the students got internships in companies like Honeywell and Amazon. Roles offered vary according to the department.
Infrastructure: Faculty members are good but not great. Wi-Fi is provided, but it is restricted to many websites, like Netflix and Instagram. The food is the worst here. Sambar is provided daily, and the canteen food is sold at high prices. Hostel rules are bad. There are too many rules for girls; outside food is not allowed. Four members share a room.
Faculty: The faculty is not that great; they rush to finish the portions. But there are also very few quality teachers. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant, as it is a deemed university, and they have their own curriculum, but they have some subjects that are total nonsense, where we have to read about a particular person.

Great Learning Opportunities with Supportive Faculty and Active Campus Life.
Placements: I am a B.Tech CSE 2027 student, and 89% of students from my course were placed. The highest package offered was ₹66 LPA, and the lowest was ₹6 LPA, with an average around ₹15-20 LPA. Top recruiters included Google, Amazon, Microsoft, TCS, CTS, Accenture, and Oracle. About 80% of students received internships in similar companies. Top roles depend on specialization, with many becoming Software Engineers and more.
Infrastructure: Our department offers a variety of labs, Wi-Fi, modern classrooms, and a well-stocked library with all the necessary amenities. The hostel has a nice atmosphere with vegetarian mess and veg/non-veg options in the canteen. Medical facilities are available on campus, along with excellent sports and gaming facilities.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and experienced, with all having PhDs, ensuring excellent teaching quality. The curriculum is industry-relevant, with a dedicated placement department handling student readiness. Semester exams are moderately challenging, requiring a solid understanding of concepts, and the pass percentage is high.
Other: I am from the B.Tech CSE 2027 batch. I chose this course due to my personal interest, as the opportunities to learn here are greater compared to other institutions. Campus life is vibrant, with annual events, fests, and celebrations for every occasion. The campus surroundings are pleasant, scholarships are available, and there are plenty of extracurricular activities.

Exceptional Placements, Top-Notch Faculty, and a Vibrant Campus Life at Amrita.
Placements: In the Computer Science department, 90% of students were placed. The highest package offered was 64 LPA, while the lowest was 5 LPA, with an average package ranging between 12 to 15 LPA. Top recruiters included renowned companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Oracle, Zoho, and many more. Around 80% of students secured internships in major companies. The roles offered are Software Engineer, Data Scientist and Full Stack Developer.
Infrastructure: Each department, including Computer Science, has a minimum of three dedicated labs equipped with all the necessary resources. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and the classrooms are modern and well-maintained. The library provides a vast collection of books and e-resources for students. Hostels are separate for each academic year, with good medical facilities available on campus. The mess serves vegetarian food, while the canteen offers non-vegetarian options. The campus also has excellent sports and gaming facilities for recreational activities.
Faculty: The teachers are very friendly, highly qualified (all Ph.D. holders), and knowledgeable. They provide great support and guidance to students throughout their academic journey. The curriculum is industry-relevant, and a separate department is dedicated to making students job-ready. Semester exams are moderately challenging, and the pass percentage is around 90%.
Other: I am a B.Tech CSE 2027 student. I chose this course because of the excellent placement opportunities and the quality teaching provided at Amrita. Everything in the course is well-organized, and there's nothing more I wish to improve. Campus life is vibrant, with year-round events, fests, and extracurricular activities. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus, and scholarships are provided. The campus is well-connected, and the crowd is lively and diverse.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of size of campus, good faculty and below average placements in 2024
Placements: 1) In 2024, 45% of students were placed in CSE. Now, the placements are ongoing, so we expect more than 70% of students to be placed. In 2023, 87% were placed in the CSE group. 2) The highest package is 24.6 LPA, the average package is 8.76 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.25 LPA. 3) Oracle and TCS are the top recruiting companies for CSE. 4) Only 10-15 students secured internships from reputed companies.
Infrastructure: 1) Wi-Fi is slow in our college, as well as in our hostel. 2) The mess food is not tasty; they don't offer any special dishes, it's sambar and rasam every day. 3) The ground is very small; we can't even play cricket, but we need to play both football and cricket. Positives: 1) The infrastructure of labs and classrooms is good.
Faculty: 1) 90% of the teachers have earned their Ph.D. from reputed colleges. In core CSE subjects, they only explain pseudo code; we need to write code in any language, which helps us to think and gain more knowledge in the subject. 2) The curriculum is the same as that of IIT colleges. 3) Exams are moderate; if you start studying from the first day, you can easily achieve above a 9 GPA. The pass percentage is 93%.

Review of Amrita School of Engineering.
Placements: Almost 86% of students get placed, and pure skills needed to get as the resources are provided by college will not be enough, but we need to work hard as we didn't get the package more than 50 LPA since 4 years; it may increase up to 60 LPA. And there are programs which help to improve it will start from the second semester onwards.
Infrastructure: The course infrastructure is good for people who already have some knowledge in programming, etc. Coming to hostel infrastructure, it is okay, not bad, but in summer it is very hot. There is a library which is okay and not good for people who will research more on anything; there are very limited sources.
Faculty: The faculty is very good, and the exams are also very good in a way that the paper will be prepared by experienced faculty to explore many innovative things and help students to think in different ways. This helps students very well. Coming to scores, if a student has an average of 8.4, then it is equal to 9 in other colleges.

There are a few changes that need to be made in our college.
Placements: 30 percent of the students from this course were placed. The highest package offered was around 20 LPA, the lowest was around 5 LPA with an average of around 8LPA. 60 percent of the students got internships with Wipro. Roles offered in our college were that of the head of the branch but other campuses offer better roles.
Infrastructure: Our college is still under construction. They are building hostels and new blocks. The quality of the infrastructure is average. The hostel needs a good water facility and a nice infirmary because the it does not have an infirmary. The food is not up to the mark because it has no taste.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified. The course curriculum is relevant. The exams are quite difficult as there are times when people fail in the subjects due to lack of knowledge. The syllabus is on par with the IITs and NITs with practical studies. They apply new rules every time.

My amrita : my right choice.
Placements: Actually, this year the placements are average on our campus because fewer companies visited this year and also because the companies are not hiring more students compared to previous years. The competition is very high for IT-related jobs. The highest package is 40 LPA, given by Google. The average is 7 LPA this year. Almost 70% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is okay. Wi-Fi facilities are appreciable. Classroom design is actually very good on our campus. Hostel facilities are also good, but there are some hazards in our hostel. There are some thieves in our hostel who steal our money. Recently, I lost 500 rupees.
Faculty: Here, the faculty is very supportive in all aspects. They also teach very well. But the course curriculum is a little bit old. They are using an old curriculum compared to other colleges. Midterm exams are tougher here compared to semester exams. The evaluation is also the same: tough in midterm exams and liberal in semester exams. Pass percentage is somewhat good. [near to 90%].
Other: I opted for CSE because I am very passionate about technology-related things. In CSE, the courses are very innovative. But the evaluation pattern must improve here.
