The college is cost-effective and has a good environment and infrastructure.
Placements: In BHU, there is a chance of placement, but it is not for Physics students. Students get placements after completing a B.Sc. in Statistics, CS, and Chemistry. Last year, the highest was approximately 8 LPA for Statistics students
Infrastructure: The Physics department lab is good in my view. Labs are high-tech. Some are not well-equipped, but overall, it is good. The environment is also good. But students should not expect professors to help in the lab. They need to do it themselves using YouTube videos or practical books. Wi-Fi is available in every building of the university (not on roads). Each classroom contains 65โ€“75 students, though its capacity is more than 100 students. Classrooms are well developed.
Faculty: It is obvious that not all professors are always good, but for me, professors in the 1st and 2nd semester were overall good. They help if students ask doubts. They generally do not solve numericals because usually no numericals come in exams. The course curriculum is based on IIT JAM, CUET PG, etc., which is one of the good aspects.
Other: For Physics students, many events are organized based on astronomy, nuclear physics, quantum physics, etc.

Great faculty members and excellent lab facilities with great exposure and an outstanding campus lif
Placements: After B.Sc. Hons in Chemistry, there is a very minor rate of direct placement. You have to complete at least an M.Sc. degree to get a placement in a chemistry-oriented company. Internship rate is often good. Students get multiple opportunities for internships in IITs and other renowned labs.
Infrastructure: Lab facilities are good and better than those of other central universities. Hostel rooms are well and good. The green campus of BHU gives a very good experience of living. All hostel rooms have Wi-Fi connections, and some hostels have a sports area and a sports ground. Food quality is quite unsatisfactory.
Faculty: Faculty members are top-class. Each faculty has its own achievements at national and international levels. Quality of education is excellent, and each faculty take class regularly. Semester exams are moderately difficult, just follow the class notes. Teachers are very supportive.
Other: If you have a good interest in Chemistry and want to build a career in Chemistry, BHU is the best place to be. Campus life is amazing. You will enjoy the course.

BHU is the best central university located in the city of Varanasi.
Placements: About 70-80 percent placement is confirmed in many potential future. Average packages are about 10 LPA-12 LPA, the lowest is 6 LPA-7 LPA, and the highest goes to 30 LPA in the Bachelor of Arts. There are many other streams and branches of study that provide even greater packages like at IIT-BHU.
Infrastructure: The magnificent library feels like a second home to the students living here. There is good connectivity of Wi-Fi all over the campus. We also have a medical facility, and a very large hostel accommodation for both students and professors. There are so many hostels, and they have very good accommodation and mess facilities. They have a Wi-Fi connection.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant to the required industry. Semester exams are not very difficult but are concept-based and have a strict invigilation during the exams.
Other: I chose the course because I have to focus on UPSC CSE. I think this course will help me very much in my career. The campus is very large and beautifully built. One could definitely say that after entering the campus it is another city due to its large campus area. Students here enjoy their lives very much.

Absolutely satisfied.
Placements: Around 40-50% of students from our course are placed through campus placements and off-campus. The average package is 5-7 LPA, the highest is 20 LPA, and the lowest is 2-3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and Deloitte. Not mostly, but some of them are in Infosys, Wipro, and one in Microsoft. Web developer, software developer, technical support engineer, and UI/UX designer.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is awesome, it's too good, and the classroom is also nice, although it doesn't have AC, but it's good. There is a lift in the building, and the labs are fully functional and have AC. The food is okay, some days it's too good. There are a lot of mess and canteens; you can go anywhere and eat. It's free to enter, pay, and eat, and the medical facilities are on top. The hospital is nearby, it's part of the college only, Sir Sunderlal. Sports and games are also good, with all the equipment and a trainer. There is a gym also.
Faculty: Professors are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. If you want to study, they will teach you very perfectly and make you learn everything. Some professors are not cooperative that much, but some are very cooperative. This course calculates relevant and irrelevant aspects. The student's industrial exposure is ready. The semester exams are not too difficult, but it depends on the professor who teaches you. Some professors give you many marks, but some don't give you any. Even if you write everything, it totally depends on the professor. 40% in each semester.
Other: I opted for this course because I love this course, and the best thing about my course is that in BHU, you will have the best teachers, and they will teach you selflessly the things that can make you better. My course could have more practical work and more internships in the third semester. They should be serious and give us real coding types. In the Science faculty, there are not many events and fests, and not much campus crowd. All is very green, and the scholarship system is also good. There are a lot of opportunities to enroll in extracurricular activities.

Overall, it is a very good college; here you can make your life worth living.
Placements: From B.Sc., you can't expect placement from college; you have to do other things for skills or pursue a master. The placement cell is empty as there is no demand in the market for B.Sc. students. For employment, students have to take on their own. But for medical and IIT, the placements are very good.
Infrastructure: The campus is very large, and greenery makes it more beautiful. The hostel facility is very good for girls and boys. For boys, there is no timing of leaving the hostel, but for girls, it's 10 PM. But for the hostel, you have to score very good marks on the entrance. The network is very bad, and Wi-Fi is also slow, and the range is very poor.
Faculty: The faculty is very good and well-experienced. Classes are regular, and rarely do professors cancel classes. They are very helpful. Although the B.Sc. course is not industrial-ready, the paper set by the professors is tough, and you have to prepare for a long time.
Other: I have a B.Sc. H in Chemistry. Currently, it's my 1st year, but the campus environment is very good, and the social groups are also good. Beyond this, you cannot expect much from the college for placement. It offers a library where you can prepare for any government exam.

Go to the main campus of BHU and avoid affiliated colleges.
Placements: In the BA course you mostly have to try everything by yourself there's no placement cell in the college. You can try to find a job by yourself. If you're from economics hons, then it's very easy for you to grab a job through the BA (Hons.) course. In the 4th semester they will throw you into the adversities of an internship and it's quite interesting to learn new things and gain a better experience.
Infrastructure: The hostel isn't as expected. I stayed in a college hostel for a year but the experience was horrible. The rooms are shared among 2 or 3 candidates which is not very comfortable for me initially. The shared accommodation teaches you a lot about people and their behaviour.
Faculty: If you're truly serious and want to learn and excel in your field, then it's best for your academics. The teachers are cooperative if you share your actual academic problems and doubts. They will guide you and help you throughout your course. Always be cooperative with your professors.
Other: I want to share that you should always go for the main campus and try to avoid affiliated colleges because they're not as good as the BHU main campus. Don't go for the affiliated colleges, they'll ruin your college experience. You'll get enrolled by the BHU tag but it's not worth it.
