The aspirants of M.Tech courses shall first check out the eligibility requirements, i.e., a valid BE/BTech degree from a recognised university. Eligible candidates can visit the institute’s official website (bitmesra.ac.in) to apply. Admission to BIT Mesra M.Tech is based on merit in the GATE exam and academic performance. For the final selection, 80% weightage is given to the GATE score and 20% weightage to Academic Performance. Aspirants without a GATE score can also apply. For non-GATE qualified candidates, the selection is based on Interview and Academic Performance. 

BIT Mesra offers nearly 12 courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. The offered courses are BTech, BArch, B.Pharmacy and BHMCT at the undergraduate level and MTech, MPharm, MBA, MCA and MSc courses at the postgraduate level. BIT Mesra allot seats to the applicants based on their scores in the accepted examinations. There are over 100 seats for the integrated MSc programmes at the institute.
