The opportunities at BITS Pilani.

Placements: Placements are quite satisfactory for master's students but nothing as compared to the bachelor's students. Particularly, the structural engineering has a lot of scope for placements, and the other branches also get a decent placement to start off. Infrastructure has a lot of scope especially with the idea of smart cities coming up, and definitely, the infrastructure boom is on the way because of the budget to be invested in the infrastructure sector.

Faculty: As we know infrastructure can be directly related to the GDP of a country, so you can always rely on this course as the upcoming scenario of the country is filled with the opportunities of the same sorts. The course offered in BITS Pilani is well planned to guide us in this particular direction. The faculty are highly educated and well trained for the courses. All the faculty members for this course have a mandatory qualification of PhD. The most attractive thing about the faculty members is that how they motivate you with the journal paper publication and the future scope of pursuing PhD.

Other: The main fest Oasis is a well-renowned fest all over India.

A little over rated for other engineering disciplines.

Placements: Not sure about the average package offered to our seniors. Everyone got an internship after the end of 3 semester. Placements for other engineering disciplines are not as good as the placements compared to CS and Electronics disciplines.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is pretty good. E-library has pretty good online database and access to premium journal sites. Books in the library needs to be replaced with new edition copies. College messes are much better than centrally funded institutions.

Faculty: Most of the faculty have work experience and worked on government projects as consultants which help students get little practical exposure of the problem that is being taught in classroom. The course work designed is very good. Course is completed with a project presentation.

Over all it's a good deal.

Placements: Around 40% placement took place in year 2018. If government allots more infrastructure projects there are high chances you can be placed in some good companies. Auditing firms also recruit from this particular branch. PPO are offered during PS programs. PS programs is highlight of curriculum in this institute.

Infrastructure: Hostel, libraries, classrooms are all good. Wi-Fi facilities are good. Library has all reference books and fictional books as well. Classrooms are air conditioned. Laboratory are well-equipped but still there is scope for some improvement. Mess and canteen can be rated average.

Faculty: Faculty members are quite intelligent. You need to work if you want to gain knowledge. Curriculum can be updated for many branches. Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable as well. Teaching quality is good and faculty members put in their effort. If you have doubts they make sure they are solved.

Other: Campus is very well maintained. Oasis is one of the best festivals in India conducted by BITS-Pilani.
