Good faculty and helpful staff. It has a good NAAC rating.

Placements: Placements did happen and some companies came, but salaries were very low. Having only a graduation degree is not enough for a good job nowadays. I had appeared for placements, but I did not accept the job offer as the salary was too low for me.

Infrastructure: In our department, both AC and non-AC rooms were available. The food in the canteen was average. The rooms were spacious. There were two libraries in the two buildings. Wi-Fi and printers in our department were working. Laptops and computers were also in good condition.

Faculty: Faculty in Physics was very good. Professors were highly qualified and always helped students to learn. They were extremely helpful, and their behavior towards students was also very good. Before exam nights, they were very active in clearing doubts and important questions for students.

Other: Nobody had the authority to harass anyone in the college. Atmosphere was also very good, though there were some exceptions. Overall, according to fee, it was a top-notch college.

In Hastings, Sister Nibedita General Degree College for Girls has a calm and clean campus.

Placements: No placement opportunities are provided in the college. No highest or lowest packages exist in the college or batches. It is a general undergraduate college. Internships will be given to students in the 4th semester. No such top roles are offered in the college to students.

Infrastructure: Separate classrooms and lab facilities are provided for all departments. Each department has its own mini-library and department room. Our college has spacious classrooms and a huge building infrastructure. There are toilets and water purifiers on each floor. A separate central library with books and journals from all departments is available. There is a separate seating area beside the library where one can read books. Wi-Fi is available in the college building, and all students can access it with the password provided by teachers. General Chemistry labs are present. There is a separate lab for food and nutrition and the microbiology department. A clean and hygienic canteen area is available. Students' rooms with sports equipment and areas to relax are available for students.

Faculty: Teachers of all departments are experienced, knowledgeable, and well-versed in the curriculum and syllabus. The teaching style is easy to understand and grasp. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry/real-life ready. Semester exams are conducted by Calcutta University, with difficulty ranging from moderate to high.

Other: I chose this course because it simply interests me. It is building a life with healthy habits, which is the best thing about this course. They teach us how to create and help people make healthy foods. Spreading awareness programs is something that should be practiced. Events keep going on throughout the year, including ECDEMA: environmental challenges of the dynamic earth, and a multidisciplinary approach (an international conference). Sports and the annual function take place once a year.

Our college has well-maintained hostels and hygienic food.

Placements: In B.Sc., pure science placements are lower compared to professional courses. The highest package for B.Sc. pure science is 6.5 LPA. The average package is around 2.4-4.25 LPA. The lowest package is around 1.4-2 LPA. Around 60-70 percent of students got internships.

Infrastructure: In Bangabasi College the classrooms are crowded, but they are lighted and clean. There are good-quality labs in Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. Physics labs have recently been updated which are ICT-based. There are well-maintained hostels and hygienic food is available.

Faculty: There are well-qualified teachers. They are helpful for students to solve doubts. Teaching quality is appreciated at 90 out of 100. The semester exams are really difficult because our college is affiliated with Calcutta University. Students have to get a minimum of 40 percent marks in each paper to pass.

Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in this subject and I want to gain in-depth knowledge about it. The best thing is the practical laboratory. The things they can improve are career counselling and average placements.

The best campus life I swear.

Placements: Around 60-70 percent of students who apply get placed through campus drives. Average package is around 3 LPA-4 LPA while the highest goes around 9 LPA-10 LPA. Recruiting companies like TCS, Deloitte, EY, Wipro, and Axis Bank visit for roles in finance, HR, and marketing. So there is a chance to get placed in such big firms.

Infrastructure: The college has good classrooms, computer labs, and a well-maintained library. Wi-Fi is available in academic areas and the campus has seminar halls and activity spaces. The canteen is decent and the sports facilities are also available for students.

Faculty: Faculty members are highly experienced and most explain concepts clearly. The curriculum follows Calcutta University and is relevant for commerce and management students. Semester exams are moderate and manageable if you attend classes regularly. Professors make it easier for us to comprehend.

I feel stuck in this college.

Placements: My college basically offers degree courses. So there are no placements after graduation. But students of my college generally go for higher studies to top-rated institutes of India like IISER, IIT, IISC, TIFR, etc., by qualifying various competitive exams.

Infrastructure: My department is very moderate. It has good lab equipment. But the hostel life is below average. The food quality is very bad. It's mandatory for the students of our college to stay in the hostels as it's a residential college.

Faculty: Our teachers and other faculty members are mostly very helpful and friendly. The teaching quality is not so good, but it's not terrible either. Our course is huge, but we struggle because we are the first batch of 4 year honors programme. The semester exams are of standard difficulty. The course covers a large portion of theoretical Physics.

Other: There are other colleges which are far better. I recommend my juniors to spend four years of their lives in a better college.

Good for Computer Science students who need a good quality education at affordable fees.

Placements: According to the data from the previous year, some of my seniors were placed in many companies, like Infosys and TCS. The highest package was like 6 LPA, as I know. Our college organizes a job fair, and some students get jobs and internships from there. Overall, there is good student support from college faculty members.

Infrastructure: For our department, there are smart classrooms and labs, free Wi-Fi for all, and an open library for all students to use from 10 AM to 4 PM. Good food quality and low price for students, although a good campus for all.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They teach us very well and are very helpful for all types of problems. Computer Science is a good subject, and this college make student industry ready for work. The semester exam is difficult, but the teacher makes us ready for that exam. There are a lot of experience teacher who teach us.

Other: I chose this course because it is affordable and of good quality learning, and although good campus life and supportive teachers.

Placements: There ain't any placement cell in Maulana Azad College as I am a student over there. I've never heard someone say the college gave me a placement. Now coming to internships as per CU guidelines doing an internship is in our syllabus so our economics department arranged it for the students and it was a great gesture. The course which is offered has only one option so there aren't any other courses to choose from but students are allowed to find other courses and complete the internship from somewhere else.

Infrastructure: Coming to the infrastructure it's a good building but with limited space. At first when I was a 1st year student there were no classrooms for our economics department but now we have one. The library is great with multiple options for the students. The canteen serves good food and maintains hygiene. Now coming to sports I'm part of the college football team and to be honest there isn't such great support for sports as we the students are the ones who take the initiative and participate the teachers don't play a great role in that.

Faculty: The teaching faculty is filled with great teachers. They do teach us very well and they even take online classes for the final syllabus. I won't say that they prepare us for industry level but whatever is in the syllabus they teach that to us very nicely. The exams are quite tough as CU is a renowned university so the standards are high.

Other: I chose economics honours as this subject will help me find great opportunities in the future and I won't say there's any scope for improvement as the faculty does what they are supposed to do we can't expect more from them as this is a government college.

I'm satisfied with the faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: All of the students started their master's after the completion of this course. There may be some placement. As most go for their master's, there's no information available. The graduates got admission in some well-known colleges. Everyone gets the opportunity for an internship.

Infrastructure: There's no hostel. The college has some tries with an association, and if you ask them about the hostel, they'll ask you to contact that association. That hostel is far from the college. It's good to choose a PG near the college. There are many PGs available in the nearby area. The infrastructure of the Science building of the college is good and well-maintained. There's Wi-Fi, labs, and a library as well.

Faculty: Professors are really helpful. They are all very nice and supportive. The teaching quality is nice for the most part. The seniors are helpful as well. The behaviour of students and the faculty members is nice. Professors are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable.

Other: There are no fests, and there is no campus crowd for the Science Department. The number of students in my course is very low. I'm glad I'm not alone, though. Scholarships are available. There's the Annual Sports Day, Annual Function Day, and Foundation Day. Extracurricular activities are available.
