Tech branches have strong placement.

Placements: CGC University, Mohali, enjoys a reputation for solid placement performance, especially with Amazon, Microsoft, Infosys, TCS and others. Many students mention that the placement cell is quite active, arranging drives to enhance students' highest drives, training the highest packages reported in recent years have crossed and also 45 LPA in certain businesses. The highest packages reported for BCA are around 33 LPA. The average packages for BCA are around 9 LPA. 10 +2 with at least 50 recent marks, slightly less for reserved categories.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are generally described as spacious, well-ventilated and equipped with smart boards. Labs are up to date with newer equipment in engineering, etc. There is a large, quiet library with a good collection of books, journals, and digital resources. State-of-the-art labs, more than 50 labs, are close to the BCA computer application department.

Faculty: Teachers are supportive, approachable and ready to clear doubts when students ask. Some days, teachers guide not just in class but also with assignment projects, exam preparation, and sometimes even outside class. Many students appreciate that the faculty are cooperative and try to help students who make an effort. The BCA programme includes topics like data analytics, cyber security, AI-enabled digital marketing tools, live projects, industry early from early years labs and infrastructure.

BCA in AI/ML has great industry focus, supportive teachers and great campus life.

Placements: BCA with specialisation in AI/ML at CGC University Mohali offers a great learning experience and hands-on projects. Around 80% got placement from top companies like Google, Microsoft, TCS, with an average package of 5 LPA. Top roles offered in my course are AI developer, AI engineer, data analyst, etc.

Infrastructure: The BCA (AI/ML) department in CGC University Mohali has well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, high-speed internet, and a good library. Hostel facilities are clean and comfortable, with decent mess food, sports facilities, and medical support. Overall, it is very good.

Faculty: Teachers at CGC University Mohali are highly qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. Semester exams are fair, with a good percentage. The course BCA in AI/ML is industry-relevant, with practical projects that make students job-ready. The teachers help us anytime when we need them.

College is very good, providing very good facilities for us.

Placements: In my computer applications, the highest package is 1 crore, and the average package is 5 LPA to 6 LPA. Top recruitment companies are TCS, Infosys, and Wipro. More than 80% of students get internships.

Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is the toughest at this college. There are more than 70 acres of land in the university. There are 2 girls hostels, and 24X7 services are available for Wi-Fi and medical. Food and other facilities are also available. Transportation facilities are also available, and they are guiding us. There is one issue that the classroom is not fully air-conditioned.

Faculty: Our teachers are very good. They are experts in their field, and they help us think every time. Even a mental and physical relationship is also available.

Other: I joined this college for computer application and to pursue my interests.

Placements: There are many international companies that come for placement, and the CGC University gives 90% of placements and good knowledge for moving forward, and makes everything easy for students to get placements from the university. They can also include other curriculum activities.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are very good, labs are very well furnished and managed. In the library, there is a very quiet and peaceful environment where students can easily ask the teachers. Students have a specified mentor who can also help students with notes, daily PPT, regarding the syllabus, etc.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and friendly to students, and they can easily ask everything, and they tell them immediately. They have specified a mentor to every student, which helps the freshers to know what to do in their academic session.

College is good, but there is a need for air-conditioned classrooms.

Placements: Our placement here is such that there are different types of companies available for campus recruitment, including finance and banking, like Tata Consultancy. There is a greater compulsion to attend the classes; it is a worthwhile situation for students.

Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is very good on campus; safety and security are given priority for the students, providing a peaceful environment. There are a lot of studies surrounding the greenery of our campus; in infrastructure, internet connectivity is available day and night.

Faculty: Teachers are good. They give personal attention to the students for their growth and help them score. Our teachers teach their students according to their needs so they can easily understand and analyze. There is also guidance for research and other activities.

Other: I chose the BCA course because it is very in demand nowadays. Computer applications are everywhere, and it is used by small businessmen and even large businesses.

Which is the best for BCA, Shoolini University or Chandigarh University?

In my opinion, Chandigarh University is best for BCA. UIC (university institute of computing )department is among the top departments at CU. There are special labs in the UIC department like Microsoft Azur lab, Redhat lab, Android development lab, and many more. Thank you.
