Admission to Lovely Professional University BCA course is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. LPU conducts LPUNEST or Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test is an online test. The test acts as an Entrance Test as well as Scholarship Test. The amount of scholarship is determined by the marks and rank obtained by candidates in the exam. Aspirants can qualify LPUNEST to avail scholarship and get admission to BCA course. Candidates need to pass Class 12 with at least 50%-60% aggregate depending on the specialisation. Additionally, LPU also accepts CUET UG score for admission to BCA course. Candidates must fulfil the eligibility conditions to avoid rejection.  After the completion of the selection rounds, aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the university. The total fee for BCA course ranges between INR 4.80 lakh and INR 7.20 lakh. The fee is calculated based on semester fee. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled.

Candidates who have registered and booked a slot can appear for the exam. The exam is conducted both remotely and at the exam centres. The remote proctored exam started on February 15, 2026, and the test centre exam started on March 15, 2026.

Candidates can apply in online mode. The exam fee is INR 1,000 for males (INR 500 for female candidates). Aspirants have to register on the university's website. Candidates need to then login to fill out the application form.

LPU does not offer direct admission. However, admission to few courses is merit-based.  Aspirants scoring a 65% aggregate have a good chance of getting admission in LPU. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the university to apply online. To apply for LPU, aspirants need to register for LPUNEST for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. LPU admission to most of the courses is based on LPUNEST score. However, national-level entrance exam scores are also accepted for admission to BA LLB (Hons), MBA, BTech, etc. Candidates must complete Class 12 for UG courses and graduation for PG courses. The selection rounds are followed by counselling and document verification.
