Review of CU campus life and placement cell.
Placements: During the third year of the law course, there were about 80 students. All ready for internships with the topmost companies. Giving them exciting opportunities is quite a number of opportunities offered by the best companies out there. The final placement is still being done for our batch. But historically, studies reveal that for the next batch, around 85–90% of final-year students get placed successfully. Earlier, the highest package offered was 14 LPA. Minimum package was 6 LPA, and average package was 8-10 LPA. Top companies such as Luthra & Luthra, TCS, Infosys, etc. are recruiting.
Infrastructure: There is a beautiful infrastructure with advanced-designed classrooms complete with smart walls, a dedicated library housing the best legal resource, and a high-speed Wi-Fi network. Moot courts, seminar halls, etc. are there. Another part is that the college provides accommodation, composed of neatly furnished rooms every day, housekeeping support, and a Wi-Fi network. Facility is provided in the mess for some varied, healthy, balanced meals, which are, on the other hand, supplemented with a different selection from the canteen that keeps various snacks about. The medical staff here carry out trauma cases in a campus health center while they amply enjoy sports and other recreational activities.
Faculty: The faculty mentors demonstrated greater involvement in approachability, job-related professional qualification, and effective teaching for a comprehensive understanding of concepts. It has a structured and real-world curriculum that contains a strong emphasis on practical knowledge transfers, assuring professional challenge readiness for the student. The criteria of semester exams make them moderately tough, with an approximately pass rate of well over 85–90%, eventually making most of the students pass, provided they put in regular effort.
Other: I opted for this law course because of its practical orientation and chance for future employment. The program and the faculty involved are solid, although it would have been good if a more diverse range of electives were on offer. The campus has a lovely atmosphere with active student pressure, greater networking, and student facilities, and there are scholarships for deserving candidates.

Review about CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY (LAW).
Placements: The college offers a wide scope for placements; however, law students generally don't opt for placements as most of them go for practice, litigation, and further studies. The average package that the campus offers is 6 LPA, and the maximum package is 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is top-notch, and being a private university, the college focuses a lot on the infrastructure of the campus. The classrooms are modernized with smart boards and Wi-Fi, and the library, along with the books, is well equipped with electronic resources.
Faculty: The faculty of the college, on average, is young and enthusiastic, and the quality of teaching is good. It is like any other school where teachers come and finish the syllabus on time; there is nothing exceptional about it and nothing bad about it. The curriculum is well designed.
Other: The college hosts many events and festivals throughout the year in which students actively participate, providing them with exposure. The university also has a sports stadium with all the facilities that are being reflected in the Khelo India games.

Great infrastructure and decent placements, but faculty and management need improvement.
Placements: 60% of the students are placed after course completion, but some are placed during the course. The average package is 8 Lacs per annum. Luthra and Luthra, TCS, and law offices visit our college. 90% of the students get internships provided by the university or on their own. The top role offered is assistant lawyer.
Infrastructure: The academic block is well-equipped and has good infrastructure. The whole block has Wi-Fi access. The computer lab is the best, with internet connectivity. The library is a good source of knowledge and has a large collection of books. Mess food is average, and hostel infrastructure is also average.
Faculty: Teachers are good. They are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The curriculum is relevant, helping students prepare for the industry. The difficulty level of the exams is moderate. You need to maintain 75% attendance in each subject to qualify for the examination.
Other: You get the opportunity to learn management and law both. More practical, industrial visits. Events and fests are organized every month. All the things are good on campus.

Our university has good infrastructure, but I am dissatisfied with placements and faculty.
Placements: Our university has poor placements in the law department. They have a tie-up with EXO Edge, which offers a very low salary package. It only hires some students. They don't have an internship cell and do not have tie-ups with law firms for internships.
Infrastructure: Hostels have very good infrastructure. The hostel warden is very helpful and friendly. Air conditioning is provided in every room. The library does not contain all the latest books and is very small in size.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and show the right path. Most of them have Ph.D.s. The curriculum does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are easy.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to work in the corporate sector. Faculty members need to be improved. Other things are good. Events and fest are pretty good.

All about Chandigarh university.
Placements: The placement drive of Chandigarh university has good connections with many great companies like Microsoft, TATA, Reliance etc. In my department, I see the placement session for the students almost every day. The average package is around 15 Lacs p. a. on average, around 70% of students register themselves with companies yearly.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of CU is much bigger than you imagine. Everywhere, you will easily find cafes, restaurants & food republic is also there, which will be going to serve you at minimal and affordable cost. Moreover, you can visit outside the campus to eat; the hostels also have what you want, from samosa to noodles. You will have it in significant quantities, which will fill your stomach. The buildings are furnished, and you will get free Wi-Fi in the whole campus area library and have a good internet connection.
Faculty: THE FACULTY AND STAFF OF CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY ARE HIGHLY QUALIFIED. SOME OF THEM ARE FROM IITs & IEMS. IN MY CLASS, ONLY TWO TEACHERS ARE FROM IIM ROHTAK & IIM PUNE, AND RESPECTIVELY. THEY HAVE A GOOD AMOUNT OF EXPERIENCE (MIN. 15 YEARS). Every week WE HAVE a CHANCE TO MEET OUR DREAM SPEAKERS. AS I AM A LAW STUDENT, THIS IS MY 1st YEAR HERE & I HAVE GOT THE CHANCE TO MEET MANY GREAT ADVOCATES AND JUDGES. ALSO, MANY TEDx SPEAKERS HAVE ALREADY MET US, AND WE HAVE AN INTERACTIVE SESSION WITH THEM FOR OUR CAREER GROWTH AND BOOST.
Other: Every month, you will find many celebrities presenting themselves in front of students no need to introduce stars who have their presence here. In addition, we have many fests and parties regularly to provide students with untouched nature, and many sports events also take place to fill with the sportsman spirit!

My overall experience is good.
Placements: The UILS department has the TPC (The placement cell) for providing internships throughout your course, and also the placement in the final semester of the course. TPC is responsible for conducting the placement drives, as the university is still focusing on developing the professional skills of the students, the placement companies for the legal professions are very limited.
Infrastructure: My course is BBA LL.B., which includes a total of 10 semesters and 5 years. During each semester, there are two internal exams, assignments, a surprise test, and a group discussion average of these is added to the final result of the semester. One can apply for the scholarship through the CUCET programme. Each department consists of centralized AC's, Wi-Fi, refreshment corners, library, etc. There are hostels for boys and girls which provide mess facilities.
Faculty: Teachers of the departments are well qualified and are very supportive in terms of professional behaviour and studies too. Each teacher got their own way to explain the thing. The university provides projectors and smart screens in the lecture rooms. The university is student-centric, which is very necessary for any institute.
Other: The university provides a scholarship of up to 50 percent, which is a very good value for money. I myself got a 40 percent scholarship throughout the course, but to maintain it, you have to acquire a 7.5 CGPA each year to continue it next year. The university hosts many events and extracurricular activities throughout the campus. Many celebrities and singers are invited to the university for the fest. As the crowd on the campus is diversified.
