Good placement, and good infrastructure.
Placements: More than 80 students were placed in my optometry course. Companies such as Bausch and Lomb and Lenskart offer internships and placements. We can become contact lens dispensers or medical experts. You learn very well in a good environment.
Infrastructure: The department is very study-friendly, with well-equipped instruments and a library with the required books. The hostel food is delicious, and the infrastructure is very good. The university provides all the necessary facilities. You will love it here. Hostel wardens are friendly and good.
Faculty: Teachers are well-equipped and knowledgeable. The course outcome is relevant, and semester exams are good and meet expectations. Subjects are not hard if you attend class regularly. The department is well-equipped with reliable instruments. Teachers are helpful and experienced.
Other: I chose this course to become a health worker. I love this course after learning about it. The events here are great. Fests are enjoyable.

Review of Chandigarh University.
Placements: Many companies visit our college to recruit students. Placements are quite good in our college. Top recruiting companies are Lenskart, Titan Eye Plus, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of classrooms is good. All classrooms are huge and well-equipped with seats and smart boards. The hostel facilities are good. The food served in the hostel is not good as they did not change the menu for a long time. At the time of admission, our college informs us to provide a hostel inside the campus, but after admission, they will provide a hostel outside campus where basic facilities are not available.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. They will guide you on the right path whether in your studies or personal life. Their teaching methods are quite good. The curriculum is up to the mark. We have two mid-term tests and the final semester every semester.
Other: Our course is new.

Reality of Chandigarh University.
Placements: While we were told that placements would be offered during admission, they have declared that there won't be any for Bachelor students. They misled us. Teachers at higher levels occasionally don't cooperate. HOD is somewhat strict. We have to look for placements on our own .
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure and average food. Wi-Fi is good and labs are clean but equipment are a bit old. The canteens are fine. Medical facilities are excellent, and there is a sports complex for sports. And the overall ecosystem is good.
Faculty: Teachers are good. Curriculum is a bit irrelevant. Teachers are helpful. Semester exams are easy as we gave everything online. Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. We would require more of practical knowledge. If they had had their own hospitals, it would have been very easy to have practical and patient knowledge. .
Other: Everything else is average. I chose this course because it was linked to my family business. If we had better equipment with AC classrooms, it would be good.

CU is good for study purposes and placements.
Placements: I am not yet placed. The highest salary package depends on type of hospital and place. We can work in hospitals like PGI, Fortis, rotary, any government hospital, or private hospital. Our course is good and there will be a lot of demand in the coming future.
Infrastructure: Good facilities of Wi-Fi for internet and a library for study are available on campus. Hostels are also good with clean rooms and the canteen is also good but a little expensive. Sports and games are also available and students who win in national games get free study and hostel facility.
Faculty: At CU, teachers are qualified. The passing percentage is 40%. The exams are very difficult as most of the questions come from outside the syllabus. The course is a little tough. We have to study in detail about eyes, lenses, and glasses. We also study about dispensing.
Other: I chose this course because, in the coming generation, everyone will face problems related to eyes as everything is happening online and everyone is using mobile phones and laptops.

There is a hospital which is the best as compared to other campuses, and they also help students to maintain their life. Food quality is very good as compared to other hostels. Students in the hostel can enjoy like in the home, and you have a great life as compared to your home. Wi-Fi is very good. Washrooms are cleaned, and the rooms are swiped up twice a day.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good and doing their best for students to have a comfortable life on the campus. They also help students to do their best. Safe score: 70%+

Very safe: 75–85%+
