Chandigarh University offers a two-year full-time course of MCA (General). Apart from this, the university also offers MCA in two different specialisations namely, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning and Cloud Computing & DevOps. Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test -CUCET is conducted by the university for admission of candidates into BTech and other UG courses. Students must qualify the test for admission to the university. The university conducts this exam in two phases. 

Direct admission to a four-year BTech course is not possible as every aspirant who is seeking admission to this course has to appear for an entrance exam conducted by the university. The university has a provision to offer admission to the direct second year of BTech through Lateral Entry, but admission to this course is also done through the same admission process. The eligibility criteria slightly differ from a four-year BTech course.
