CUSAT MTech Eligibility & Highlights 2026
Cochin University (or CUSAT) offers MTech (full-time) in 16 specialisations. The MTech specialisations offered are Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics, Civil, etc. Admission to MTech courses at CUSAT is through a GATE score. Candidates without a GATE score can appear for the Departmental Admission Test (DAT). Aspirants need to fill out the online form (admission.cusat.ac.in) and submit it for being eligible to take admission. However, the seat allotment for each M.Tech programme shall be on the applicant’s GATE score. Candidates without a GATE exam score can take CUSAT DAT/ Sections A and B exam by the Institution of Engineers (India).

Cochin University of Science and Technology selects candidates for admission to most of the programme based on their scores in CUSAT CAT.
