DU offers many undergraduate, postgraduate, and Diploma-level programmes for different discplines. Students can take admission based on their eligibility and academic interests. No, Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2027 registrations have not commenced yet. The registration window will be active at cuet.nta.nic.in. NTA will release the CUET 2027 notification in first week of January. Soon after the release of the CUET official notification, the CUET registration 2027 process will commence online at the official website. Candidates willing to appear for the CUET 2027 exam must complete the application form online. Additionally, before filling application form, candidates must make sure that they have fulfilled the prescribed CUET eligibility criteria to qualify for the entrance exam.
No, candidates cannot take direct admission in Delhi University. The university offers admission into UG and PG programmes based on scores achieved in CUET (Common University Entrance Test) conducted by NTA. The total tuition fee for MCom courses offered by the University of Delhi-affiliated colleges range between INR 360 and INR 36,620 depending on the college a student is seeking or taking admission to. Yes, DU provides good placements to its students annually. Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) has placed 1,095 students of batch 2026 with an average package of INR 13.79 LPA. Students from Hansraj College secured 130 job offers with an average package of INR 9.6 LPA. Median package recorded at INR 8.4 LPA. Highest package of Delhi University (FMS Delhi) recorded in 2026 stood at INR 1.1 Cr per annum. SRCC and LSR students achieved this highest package of INR 36.25 LPA.
No, CUET application fee is similar as of previous year. The CUET registration fee is updated on release of the CUET notification. - For the General category, the candidate needs to secure a minimum of 50% in Class 12; for SC/ST, candidates must have secured a minimum of 45% in Class 12 to be eligible for the CUET exam. For BTch programmes, the minimum aggregate for the General category candidates is 45%, and that of the reserved category candidates is 40%.
Morever, candidates who wish to apply for Delhi University must have a valid score in CUET. Undergraduate courses including BCom, BTech, BA, BSc and more are offered by the affiliated colleges.
Delhi University MCom admission up until 2021 was offered in two categories: Direct Admission and Through Entrance Test. Also, along with the entrance exam, interview rounds were also conducted for admission to Delhi University PG programmes. There was no minimum age limit to take admission to the MSc programme offered by the university. However, DU PG admission 2022-23 was subject to a valid score in DUET as announced by the University.
Starting 2023, the admission process of DU for its postgraduate courses, such as MA, MSc and MCom will be subject to the CUET-PG exam conducted by NTA. After the results, qualified students will be required to appear for the seat allocation process conducted by the university for final seat allotment.

While minimum Class 12 are required, DU admissions are not based on a candidate's Class 12 performance. Instead, CUET UG score is the main selection criteria at DU. No, class 11th subject syllabus is not included in CUET UG exam. Students who are preparing for CUET 2026 exam must focus on class 12th NCERT curriculum. University of Delhi BBA admission is through CUET exam. Candidates who meet course eligibility need to appear for this NTA exam to get a seat. There may not be any other provision for admission. Students who pass CUET need to register for DU CSAS for seat allotment. The complete process is carried out in online mode.
DU is considered one of the most competitive universities in India for Commerce, Science and Arts education at the undergraduate level. The university and its affiliated colleges was attracting the cream layer of crowd till the time admission was subject to Class 12 scores. While reserved category candidates still had minor chances of getting into a not-so-popular course of DU with 60% in Class 12, a General category student with 60% had no chance of getting into any good college or course at DU.
However, starting 2022, DU admission process has shifted to CUET-UG based admission process. Those with a valid score in CUET UG exam who have passed their Class 12 are eligible to take admission now. While the chances of getting into a good DU college are still low at this score, the chances of getting a seat have increased now (provided you score extremely well in CUET UG).

According to me, if you are getting a seat in DU, choose it as your priority. DU is a better choice in terms of academics and affordable fees.
LPU is a good option if you want modern infrastructure, a diverse campus, practical learning, internships, and placement support. But the decision is yours,

The Sri Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College is well known college for various courses including BA, BSc, BCom, Certificate, MA, MSc, UG Diploma, PG Diploma and MCom. The courses are offered in several specialisation. Students have to fulfil the course specific eligibility criteria to get admission.
