Diploma in Spanish - Batch of 2024
4.6
At Delhi University, you would get a quality education in a foreign language.
Placements: Well, there are no guaranteed placements provided by the college for foreign language courses at Delhi University, but there are some exceptions when some companies come to our college for placements. The average salary that would be offered to students is up to 3-5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at Delhi University is amazing; there are plenty of good-quality classrooms, libraries, canteens, and playgrounds. But students who are pursuing a foreign language don't have the option to choose any societies or clubs. You get the Wi-Fi, and you can also play sports on the playground.
Faculty: In Delhi University, you would get top-notch professors; they are very helpful regarding your subject or course, and their teaching method is also superb, but that's all depends on the college; sometimes you may get exceptions. Course curriculum is easy for certificate courses, but for diploma courses, it's slightly difficult. You have to study and focus too much on your language; otherwise, it would be difficult for you to pass the exams. In exams, there are only 3 exams, and you have to get at least 40 marks each to pass the exams.

Advance Diploma in TV Programme and News Production - Batch of 2020

I am satisfied with this college but the crowd could have been better.
Placements: In our class, there was a total of 60 students in which some meritorious ones who were active off class and in projects were helped out by the senior HOD of our department for internships or jobs in various news channels like News24, NDTV, Amar Ujala, etc. They were hired for different roles and purposes, like content writing, camera handling, article writing, news researcher, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college is one of the best colleges in Delhi University with good infrastructure. It was big and space spread in big dimensions, with ICT laboratories, computer laboratory, and each of the departments with their specific laboratory, some extra classrooms were given for different societies like commerce, art, photography, athletics, sports, and more. There was hostel only for girls on campus which was not good. There was one canteen but the food was not good. There could be more options. Medical facilities were provided on the campus, and for each sport, there were courts available.
Faculty: In our course, faculty members were good, and more than expected. They give students some real to learn. The curriculum and propaganda which they teach were all useful. The course was not that hard as per my view. If students were paying attention to the teachers and their notes they will score well. Students don't have to think about failure once they were on campus. The pass marks were 60%.
Other: I opted for this course, because I was already preparing for NDA so I can't go with graduation so I picked it. The course was overall good and if students focus on it they can easily get placed. Little more practical classes would have helped though. The campus crowd was not at that level like how it used to be in proper Delhi University top colleges because it was out the campus and so it was far from other Delhi University colleges but there was rajguru only girls college nearby. Food courts were available for snacks and delicious food. Domino's, medical, food court, stationary, salons, and every necessary shop were located at the distance of just 100 meters from the college gate.

Diploma in Spanish - Batch of 2020

I'm satisfied due to good placements and facilities, helpful professors and amazing infrastructure.
Placements: There are two batches of 40 students in a diploma course in Spanish. Our campus provides good salary packages and has good placements. Our college is tied up with many multinational companies like Concentrix and Tech Mahindra. The roles offered in this course are basically voice process, airlines and collections.
Infrastructure: Ramjas College has an amazing infrastructure. It is one of the top five colleges of Delhi. Our college provides free Wi-Fi to every student. Classrooms are well maintained. The food served in our college is delicious, healthy and pocket-friendly. Ramjas has good medical facilities and playgrounds for various sports.
Faculty: Professors of Ramjas College are highly educated, really helpful and knowledgeable. They teach in an easy way with the help of many games. This course makes us ready for industrial purposes and helps us to explore more about Spain (culture of Spain and living of people). Exams are not very hard, and the pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I was part of a 2020 diploma batch of Spanish. I got a distinction in my batch. Spanish is an easy language to learn and provides more job opportunities in India. The fests of our college are remarkable.

Q:   Is DU admission open?
A:

Yes, DU admission 2026 is now open for several programmes. The university is now in the middle of conducting its admission process for UG & PG programmes. Students can check the Delhi University's official site to know about the CSAS dates.

Q:   Does Delhi University require Class 12 marks?
A:

While minimum Class 12 are required, DU admissions are not based on a candidate's Class 12 performance. Instead, CUET UG score is the main selection criteria at DU. The higher CUET score, the better chances at top DU colleges. Hence, applicants have to meet the minimum eligibility of 40%-60% depending on the programme.

Q:   Do I need 60% in Class 12 to get admission in DU?
2thumbs up
A:

DU is considered one of the most competitive universities in India for Commerce, Science and Arts education at the undergraduate level. The university and its affiliated colleges was attracting the cream layer of crowd till the time admission was subject to Class 12 scores. While reserved category candidates still had minor chances of getting into a not-so-popular course of DU with 60% in Class 12, a General category student with 60% had no chance of getting into any good college or course at DU.

However, starting 2022, DU admission process has shifted to CUET-UG based admission process. Those with a valid score in CUET UG exam who have passed their Class 12 are eligible to take admission now. While the chances of getting into a good DU college are still low at this score, the chances of getting a seat have increased now (provided you score extremely well in CUET UG).

Q:   Is Delhi University internationally recognised?
A:

Yes, Delhi University is recognised internationally for its wide variety of degree programmes. It was placed in the  #601-800 rank band in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2026 (Overall). Recently, the university ranked #322 in the QS World University Rankings 2027 (Overall). These rankings confirm global recognition of Delhi University.

Q:   Can I get admission in DU without CUET?
A:

This college has good course for students.
Placements: Around 80% of students were got internships, and almost 90% of students were placed in the course. The top companies were India News, ABP News, and Sahara News that visit to hire students. The roles depended on the students by their interests. The package offered by the company depends on the student and their work performance.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was good. There were hygiene and greenery which make the college very good. The canteen was not good, because the food served was not tasty. The college ground was very good. The library was excellent, and it consists of a great number of books.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality was good, and the help of assignments made students skillful. The course curriculum was relevant, and it make students ready for industry. The semester exams were not difficult as it seems.
Other: I opted for this course, because of my interest in it.

I am satisfied with the infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The placement cell of our college is excellent. They have done impressive work. Almost 10 companies visited our campus for placements last year, and some of the students got placed. The best part is that the placement cell is responsive and cooperative. They listen to the queries of the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is one of the best parts of our college. The library is air-conditioned. Cool drinking water facilities are available 24x7. The campus offers a clean environment. Washrooms are cleaned every day, and they have basic amenities like hand wash and tissue paper.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and highly qualified, and they share their wisdom with the students. Still, some better teaching ways are to be introduced in our college, like smartboards. The student to faculty ratio is somewhat satisfying. Each class has almost 50 students. The course curriculum is updated according to the fieldwork.

I am quite satisfied with college because of its faculty, crowd, and 75% placements scheme.
Placements: Regarding placements, the college assures 75% placements in some reputed travel agencies with a salary starting from Rs. 15000 per month. The college offers internships to only selected candidates because of lack of interest of the students. Our college has a placement cell. The internship is very efficient for students as it is like a practical and we get to explore the kind of things we experience in future. Thus, it prepares us for a good future.
Infrastructure: The college doesn't provide Wi-Fi facilities for diploma students. However, they are provided with computer labs and fully air-conditioned classrooms. There is a gym for girls which helps to maintain our fitness. Food served in the canteen is quite well. There are no hostel rooms. I didn't face any issues regarding the infrastructure of the college.
Faculty: I don't about the rest of the faculty members, but I think I am blessed to have Swapna Dhawan as our teacher. She is one of the best teachers. She is very polite and helpful. She makes our boring lectures interesting by telling some of her insane real-life stories. Every year, she takes us on an educational tour to different parts of India, and this year its Bhopal. We will go to heritage walks to learn about heritage. The course is quite useful.
Other: Our college organises a fest every year where they invite very fine artists. There are many events organised in college. Our college principal looks after the girl students as their daughters. The outside gate is patrolled by Delhi police during college hours.

This is the worst college, and don't get admission here.
Placements: The placements are normal on the campus. The companies hire only the most deserving candidates. Getting placements on the campus is tough. Google company don't visit the campus for placements as local companies visit and offer very cheap salaries to meet our both ends. The students have to work very hard to get placed in good companies.
Infrastructure: The college has the best Wi-Fi facility, labs, sports ground, etc. The hostel facilities are better. The campus is well-equipped with all the facilities in which Wi-Fi facility is the greatest among all of them. The campus structure is great as they get highly paid by us. But the education on the campus is the worst as nobody cares about it. All they need is only money.
Faculty: The teachers are not at all helpful as you have to study yourself in laptops. They provide Wi-Fi facility for the students, but they charge for it. Here, nobody cares about us. Only you have to study for your better future. All the teachers are knowledgeable, but they don't share it.
Other: There are no events, fests, or any other activities on the campus. Here, all things are for business.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the placements procedure, but the teaching staff is awesome.
Placements: DU doesn't give placements for part-time courses. But, the teachers here are very good. They guide us very well in every situation and also helps in scoring our best. Although the college doesn't give placements, every year the toppers of such courses are awarded, with the cash prizes.
Infrastructure: There are good facilities available. I am not a regular student here, but I do visit the college thrice a week. Every time I saw students playing on the ground guided by the teachers. There is also a facility of Wi-Fi, computers, library available here. Canteens also serve proper meals here. I have only one problem with the college which is that the office staff is not as attentive as it should be, regarding the queries of the students.
Faculty: The teachers here are very good. They are even punctual and very interactive. In certificate course, our teacher used to play the German CD's in the classroom itself, to enhance our listening skills. Students were also very satisfied with it and were able to catch up to her. Pursuing course from here is good, but the colleges should also give placements for part-time courses too.
