IPU B.Ed Eligibility & Highlights 2025

IPU B.Ed is a two-year course, which is further divided into semester patterns. Around 24 colleges affiliated with GGSIPU offer a full-time B.Ed programme and each of the colleges offers an annual seat intake of 100 students. IPU B.Ed Admission 2025: How to Apply?

IP University admission to the B.Ed programme is entrance based. Shortlisted students go through a counselling round. The admission process is as follows:

1. GGSIPU B.Ed Application Process 2025

The application procedure is compeleted in online mode. Fulfill the eligibility criteria for admissions.

1. Visit the official website of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (www.ipu.ac.in). Click on the 'Admission' tab and further click on 'Online Admission Form' from the drag down menu.

2. Read the instructions carefully, accept the declaration and click on 'Start' to proceed with the registration.

3. Select B.Ed from the programme drop-down menu and register with the candidate's name, email ID and contact number. Further, click on 'CET' courses because B.Ed comes under the 'CET' category courses.

4. Candidates will receive an application sequence number, user ID and password for future logins and a link to the application form to proceed with further steps.

5. Enter personal details, such as name, parents' name, age, nationality, etc. Also, enter the present address information along with the permanent address.

6. Fill in the details such as the year of passing and the school/ institution attended.

7. Upload the documents and pay the application fee (INR 1,500) via debit card/ credit card/ net banking.

2. Shortlisting of Students & Release of Merit List

In the next step, applications are shortlisted based on applicants' scores in the respective entrance examinations. A cutoff list is prepared to declare the minimum score required for selection.

3. Counselling

Candidates with scores equal to or more than the cutoff can participate in the counselling round. The document verification and seat allotment is carried out in the round of counselling. The counselling schedule is published on the university's official website.

4. Admission Confirmation

The candidates selected after all the selection rounds need to pay the required admission fee for seat allotment.

Absolutely satisfied. Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: It's a very good college. Here, you get good schools to teach in. I have not seen any placements here but students get a good hands-on experience in learning. You can improve your knowledge and interaction capabilities with people. Here, you can do various courses like D.El. Ed, B.Ed, BCA, etc.

Infrastructure: I really like the facilities of this college. The college building is very clean and you also get a lift here. Wi-Fi is always available on every floor. Classrooms are properly ventilated. You get more than 8,000 books in the library along with online resources. We have a good canteen facility. There is a common room for extra activities. Good sports facilities and ground are there.

Faculty: Faculty members are very much supportive. All teachers have a very good knowledge of their subjects and pedagogies. They teach with very discipline. They have a very great aura that motivates us throughout the college day. They teach very well and are always ready to help. Exams are very easy to pass if students listen to teachers carefully and follow their instructions.

Other: There is not so much crowd. My class has only 25 students because less number of students chose this field. I chose this course because I have a good interest in teaching. Best thing about this college is the student support. You get good support throughout the course. The thing I want to improve is the hall for functions. It could be better. You get government scholarships if applicable. You can do extracurricular activities in the allotted period. You can get various opportunities to join seminars and improve your skills.

Overall, college and faculty members are good. The environment is decently organized.

Placements: This B.Ed special education college has 150 seats with an average student enrolment of 70. College offers the best packages among other special education colleges, with a 100% internship rate. College aims to create responsible citizens, teachers, mentors, educators, and counselors.

Infrastructure: Facilities available in this college are above average or we can say it provides almost all facilities which are required by students during studying. They provide library, resource rooms, conference rooms, and well-maintained washrooms, but one thing where they lag is that no Wi-Fi facility is provided on campus.

Faculty: Teaching quality of faculty members is excellent, providing a conducive environment for practical knowledge. Faculty members of the college are just perfect, their skills, knowledge and the main thing. They focus more on concrete and practical knowledge which helps students understand the concept deeply and in a well-organised manner. This course provided in college is based on the guidelines by RCI and the curriculum provided by RCI and higher authorities. Semester exams are moderate-level exams that analyze the broad knowledge of students taught in classes. Pass percentage is 100%.

GIAST is affiliated with IPU - They provide good education. But really bad infrastructure.

Placements: During the internship of three months, hardly anyone got placement in the batch of 100 students in 2023-25. Global school provides opportunities for hiring which is near the college. But no one was able to secure a job. We have to search outside college for jobs.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the worst part of college. It is such an old building, even walls are whitened with dust, washrooms have no flushes, watercollers are not working, court are too old to be used. Even the railing is brown, and walls are breaking. They need to change the building.

Faculty: Teaching faculty members are good though. That's the best part of the institute. Curriculum is connected with CC activities organised to enhance the creativity of students. Exams are based on the syllabus taught in the semester. They are normal according to the taught syllabus.

Other: Zenith is organised recently in partnership with Sovereign School. It is an average event.

Best Study College in My Life.

Placements: 68% of college students get placement from the college placement management. They teach in offices, schools, colleges, and universities. Their salary is more than 20 thousand rupees per month. Besides, they also teach in several private schools and colleges and get a salary.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good, the best among all colleges. There are 4 big playgrounds, a green environment, separate buildings for each section, free Wi-Fi, classrooms that are well updated and modern as smart classes. Labs are very rich. The library has more than 100,000 books. The two canteens are inside the campus, and the food quality is good. Food is available at a very reasonable rate. Separate hostels for boys and girls. High security and doctor facilities. There is quite a green environment around it. The hostel rooms are AC and non-AC.

Faculty: The faculty was also very good as they were very experienced, knowledgeable, and well-qualified. They were very helpful and friendly in nature. Their teaching style was very good. They ensured our understanding in a very simple and entertaining way. Most of the time, they used the practical aspect of learning, and there was one teacher for every 14 students. I designed the course, and the syllabus was very useful for me.

My college overall is very good in infrastructure, teaching staff, and other activities.

Placements: So basically, IP University admissions are based on the IPU CET score. The better you score, the greater your chances of getting admission to a good college. My rank was 900, so I got into a top 10 college in IP University. The package range there is from 80K to 2L.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is truly outstanding and reflects the institution's commitment to providing a world-class learning environment. The campus is spacious, clean, and aesthetically pleasing, creating a positive and inspiring atmosphere for students. Placements: We are a batch of 55 students. More than half of our batch have cleared the teacher training test. The average packages started at around Rs. 30,000 per month, which makes it around 3.6 LPA. We have interviews where the companies ask us questions from our course, and the only key to cracking is staying confident enough. 13 students are selected.

Infrastructure: There is no hostel available as of now. The campus is clean and well-ventilated. There are 2 libraries. Although the campus has Wi-Fi, the signal is poor. On the ground floor, there are classes especially for special children. We have therapy rooms in the basement, and the rest floors have college lectures. Whiteboards, benches, and a few classrooms have projectors. There's a lift on the campus. All the events are organized at the Tecnia auditorium, which is outside the campus. There's a canteen outside the college.

Faculty: Teachers are well-experienced, but due to their unavailability, sometimes, the subject syllabus lags behind. Practically speaking, 70% of what we study in our course is not used while handling children in real life. About the exams, they're easy to moderate. If one has studied well, they can crack the exams and score well. I prepared for my semester exams a day before and had an aggregate of 78%.

Other: This course brings a lot of opportunities in hand, which is of great significance. The one who is sympathetic towards special children can pursue this and help them, and can set a permanent career in it. I wish this course had more practical things, and teachers should teach by letting us into the special classrooms while we observe them. Because theory doesn't help us so much in being a good special educator. The nearest metro station is Rohini East on the Red Line. A mere 5 to 7 minutes of walking. Police security is top-notch around the campus.
