GJUST MA Eligibility & Highlights 2025

MA is a two-year course divided into four semesters. GJUST offers MA in four specialisations at the PG level. After completing graduation, candidates can apply for the MA course. The selection to the MA course is based on the entrance test conducted by GJUST.

Additionally, Directorate of Distance Education, GJU offers MA in two specialisations, namely Mass Communication and English for a duration of two years. The university also offers lateral entry to MA Mass Communication in distance education mode. Candidates need to complete bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate (pass marks for SC candidates of Haryana) to apply for MA. For lateral entry, aspirants must complete PG Diploma in Journalism/ Communication/ Mass Communication/ Advertising/ Public Relations/ Media Writing after graduation in any discipline from a UGC recognised university or one-year full-time Diploma in Social Communication Media from Garware Institute of Career Education and Development.

M.A. Mass Communication in GJUST.

Placements: 57 students were placed in my course the highest 14LPA and the lowest 3.5LPA I don't know about specific companies Almost 70? students got internship from my course in private companies. One of the most popular roles available to students in my GJUST course is that of news anchor.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in course/department are: Wi-Fi, Laboratory, Class & Smart Classes, Toilets, and Cooler The best quality of food is served in my hostel and the mess or canteen is too clean. I also have medical facilities and proper ambulance in hostel complex.

I am absolutely satisfied with our faculty, facilities, and opportunities.

Placements: Placement drives conducted in our university are at a good level. In this year, Zee Media visited the campus for placements and two students selected in that placement drive. We also get more opportunities to explore in different fields. Our seniors got placed in different channels as Zee News, Aaj Tak, Khabrein Abhi Tak, etc.

Infrastructure: A high technology system is available on our campus. We have two Mac computers to learn final cut pro software. Our campus already got Best Greenery Award. We have different sports and game zone on our campus. We have a great library and Haryana's number one auditorium.

Faculty: We hve world class teachers. They all are brilliant qualified. They teach us by theoretical and practical method. In Mass Communication, we get complete knowledge about camera, editing, writing skills, communication skills, etc. We get industry exposure also from all this knowledge we get from our teachers.

Other: Our university organises events from time to time as a flower show in which students can explore different types of flowers. Every year, youth fest and talent hunt are also organised in which students can show their talent. Our university also organised an event on World Yoga Day.

Guru Jambeshwar University is an updated university.

Placements: Placements in the college are not 100% satisfactory. Students from the B.Tech and MBA departments get placements, but they are not completely satisfactory. Mass communication department can prepare a student to get employment by developing their skills and giving practical and field knowledge. The department has MOUs with renowned media houses that provide internships to the students, but there are no satisfactory results in placements.

Infrastructure: All the rooms in the college are properly ventilated with Wi-Fi and lab facilities. A health department, sports complex, and gyms are available with the latest machines. The library of GJUST is considered to be the largest library. Hostels are also equipped with a proper mess and water facilities with Wi-Fi connections.

Faculty: More than 80% of the teachers of the university are NET qualified. All the teachers have great theoretical as well as practical knowledge. Smart classes and labs are available. Udbhavna programs are held in the college, and students of all departments get field exposure. Students of mass communication are taken to news channels and newspaper organisations for field exposure.

Other: Mass communication department regularly plans workshops and competitions for students. The training and placement cell is playing a vital role in polishing the overall personality of students.

My university is very good at teaching.

Placements: Everyone gets a job after the course. The best university with placements offering 7 to 8 LPA from companies in the first year of their contracts in India.

Infrastructure: Good infrastructure. Every building has its own Wi-Fi. Every class is digital with full-screen LCDs. There is a very big library in the university with good-quality seating, staff, and great satisfaction in every class. Each course has its own lab in its building.

Faculty: Teachers are good, helpful, and well-qualified for their posts at the university. They are full of knowledge in their subjects. Their experience in the subjects they teach is very helpful and useful for students to understand and appreciate their work.

Good private college in Hisar for mass communication.

Placements: I have not seen any company at this college for my course. We can join for field work in mass communication. Teachers tell us how can we get job in new media, newspaper. In this college we can do other job based course like BCA MCA B.com. Overall college is good.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good but little small. Facilities are available for our course in this college. But we need to pay extra charge for this like as tuition fees. Basic fee for our course is 12000 but we need to pay around 3000 extra for tuition fee. You can join course without tuition.

Faculty: They provide good quality study material. Some time due to university problem we can get late study material. But college staff always try to do best. Some time they provide us pdf study notes or material. They cooperate with students. Principal sir is also good.

Other: Teachers and workers are good.
