I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU) (earlier known as PTU) offers an MBA course of two-year divided into four semesters. It is necessary for the applicant to have a valid rank in Common Management Admission Test (CMAT). Candidates shortlisted based on CMAT scores are called for PTU MBA Counselling. Candidates are offered seat in IK Gujral Punjab Technical University MBA based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Aspirants must complete their bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate for MBA. There is a 5% relaxation in the aggregate for IKGPTU MBA course. The university prepares the merit list based on the qualifying exam score of the candidates.
The university accepts Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) scores for admission to an MBA. Hence, aspirants must have a valid CMAT score to seek admission. The duration of this entrance test is three hours. Moreover, it is conducted in CBT mode, which is Computer Based Test. To appear for this exam, students need to visit the NTA website (nta.ac.in) and apply.
