IIT Bombay BS Eligibility & Highlights 2025
IIT Bombay offers a BS or Bachelor of Science (four-year) course in three specialisations. Admission to BS is based on JEE Main and JEE Advanced scores. Candidates are shortlisted based on scores secured in the entrance test and called for JoSAA counselling. The IIT Bombay BSc course admissions are decided by the scores obrtained by candidates in the JEE Mains entrance exam. The application process for JEE Mains consists of three steps, i.e. registration, form filling & document upload followed by payment of application fees. IIT Bombay BS 2025 FAQs
Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements, which is have passed Class 12 with 75% aggregate in PCM. The eligible students can fill out the application form for JEE Main on the NTA official website. Further, students who clear JEE Advanced need to take part in JoSAA counselling during which the seat allotment is carried out.
The institute offers BS in three specialisations, including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Admission to all the BS specialisations at IIT Bombay is entrance-based (JEE Main + JEE Advanced). The seat intake varies from one specialisation to another. Additionally, all the courses are of a four-year duration.
Admission to the BS programme is based on JEE Main, JEE Advanced followed by JoSAA Counselling. Candidates are admitted to the course based on performance in the counselling.
