Faculty is good enough, placemens are satisfactory and the infrastructure doesnt disappoint at all
Placements: 60%-70% of the students got placements, the highest was 17LPA and the lowest was 3LPA also average package was 5LPA, Adobe Amazon Tata Motors IKEA accenture were some top companies to recruit, 85% of the students got internship in Flipkart Godrej Deloitte Jio, top roles were graphic designing and product designing .
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, it has good amount of windows so it's breathable and doesn't require electricity most of the time in the classrooms, the labs are good but sometimes the materials required can fall short, library is okay too if you want to take a break .
Faculty: The teachers were the best, they had knowledge and knew how to teach even a failing student, yes it makes the student industry ready because in the course we don't only study from the books but there are multiple practical through the day, exams are moderate and pass percentage is 75% .
Other: I chose this course because I always wanted to get into designing and it seems interesting to me. The best thing is when you leave college you will be ready for the industry without hesitating, I wish the campus would get better mess food and hostel arrangement, the events and fest are very good although they can get crowd but very awesome .

    The highest international and domestic package offered during IIT Delhi placements in recent past was above INR 2 Crore and 1 Crore per annum. 

    Q:   How do I get admission to IIT Delhi?
    A: 

    IIT Delhi admission is entrance-based for all the programmes (Except for PG Diploma). For the diploma course, selection is done merit-basis. Candidates who have passed Class 12 can apply for the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi undergraduate courses. More details around the admission process of some of the courses are provided below:

    • Candidates, who have passed Class 12 from a recognised board with an aggregate of 75% or above, can appear for JEE Main, followed by JEE Advanced and JoSAA Counselling to seek BTech admission at IIT Delhi.
    • Admission to MTech course is based on merit in GATE exam followed by GOAP counselling.
    • For MSc, aspirants need to apply with a valid score of IIT JAM and selected candidates have to further go through CCMN counselling.

    A: 

    Candidates need to have a prep strategy in place to prepare for Part A and Part B of the CEED exam. While formulating a CEED preparation plan, candidates need to keep in mind important topics to study in order to ace each section of the design entrance test. Aspirants should also go through past years' CEED question papers while preparing for the exam.

    Q:   Is JoSAA counselling required for admission in IIT Delhi?

    Yes, participating in JoSAA counselling is mandatory to get a BTech seat in Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Students must first pass JEE Advanced exam. Then students must register on the official portal for counselling, for final seat allotment.

    Q:   How to apply for IIT Delhi after GATE?

    Candidates who meet the course-specific eligibility criteria and have a valid GATE score can apply. Aspirants can complete the application form through the IIT Delhi official website. This is for M.Tech full-time programmes. For part-time/sponsored full-time courses, eligible candidates can register directly at the official website. Admission to part-time M.Tech is based on a written exam and interview round conducted by the institute.

    Q:   Can I get admission in IIT Delhi with CUET scores?
    A: 

    No, you cannot get admission to the Indian Institute of Technology IIT Delhi with CUET scores. IIT Delhi admits students on the basis of national-level engineering entrance exams. The institute considers JEE Main, JEE advanced and UCEED for UG courses. Whereas, GATE/ IIT JAM/ CEED and others are considered for PG admission.

    Q:   I have 70% in Class 12. Am I eligible for IIT Delhi UG engineering courses?

    No, students are not eligible for BTech at IIT Delhi with 70% in Class 12. Though 70% is a good score but the percentage is not enough. The eligibility for BTech at IIT Delhi is 75% in Class 12 with relevant subjects from a recognised board. Students must fulfil the eligibility to get admisison.

    Q:   Does passing UCEED 2023 guarantee BDes admission to IIT Delhi?

    Students seeking admission to BDes course (Bachelor of Design) at IIT Delhi are required to sit for UCEED exam 2023. UCEED releases qualifying cutoff in the form of mean deviation and standard deviation. Appearing in UCEED 2023 or being on the admission rank list does not guarantee admission to IIT Delhi BDes courses.

    Candidates who have passed UCEED 2023 must apply separately to the UCEED participating institute for BDes admission. Apart from passing the UCEED exam, the candidates are required to fulfil the eligibility criteria, category certificates and other documents, as well as the UCEED score, to be verified by IIT Delhi.

    Q:   Can I get IIT Delhi at 30 rank?

    Yes, you can get into IIT Delhi with a rank of 30 if you belong to the OBC AI quota. As per the IIT Delhi BDes cutoff 2026 for the third round, the cutoff for this category was 32

    No, staying at the IIT Delhi hostel is not compulsory. Hostel accommodation is not offered to students staying within a 15km radius of the institute. There are 12 boys' hostels and 5 girls' hostels at the engineering institute.
