IIT Delhi MDes Eligibility & Highlights 2024
At the PG level, IITD offers a full-time MDes programme across one specialisation only. The programme is offered for a duration of two years. IIT Delhi MDes admissions are based on valid CEED scores. It is an all-India-level entrance exam, conducted by IIT Bombay, comprising a screening test and an interview round. The institute has introduced a new programme, Master of Public Policy (MPP) for a two-year duration in full-time mode with a focus on Science, Technology & Innovation (STI) and Development at the School of Public Policy. Admission to the programme is based on a written test/ oral exam, followed by a PI round.

IIT Delhi OBC cutoff 2025 for JEE Advanced is yet to be released. However, during the last round cutoff in 2024, the JEE Advanced closing ranks for BTech admission varied between 89 and 3185 in the All India quota. In the first round, the cutoff ranks were more competitive for admission compared to the final round. Therefore, based on last year's cutoff ranks, a JEE Advanced rank of 7000 does not allow for admission at IIT Delhi for any BTech or Integrated BTech courses for students belonging to the OBC AI category.

Candidates taking admission must first check the eligibility criteria. Students should fill all the details carefully and as per official documents. IITD accept application forms in online mode. DTU and IIT delhi are both topmost universities available in India. The placements given to these university students are also good. The infra is quite good for both the universities, hence the comparison between them is not possible. In the end, it depends on students what is best for them.
