IIT Delhi MTech Eligibility & Highlights 2026
The IIT Delhi MTech course is a two-year course that is offered in full-time mode. MTech at IIT Delhi is offered in multiple specialisations including MTech in CSE, Engineering Analysis and Design, Machine Intelligence and Data Science, Cyber Security, Robotics and more. MTech at IIT Delhi is also offered as part of several integrated courses.
The IIT Delhi MTech admissions are entrance based, where the candidates are required to appear for the GATE entrance exam and clear a Personal Interview round. Candidates are also required to comply with the eligibility criteria for MTech admissions as tabulate below:

- Scanned copy of Category certificate (for SC/ST) in pdf format
- Scanned copy of PwD Certificate (if applicable) in pdf format

IIT Delhi MTech admission is subject to fulfilment of a specified set of eligibility criteria. According to the eligibility criteria, the minimum marks required in graduation is 60%. Hence, a candidate scoring less than 60% is not eligible to apply for MTech admission at the institute. They can go for other colleges offering the course. Yes, any candidate who has passed BE/ BTech/ MSc or equivalent with a minimum 60% aggregate are eligible to apply for IIT Delhi M.Tech programme. Aspirants must also qualify GATE for admission to MTech. Aspirants with a score equal to or more than the cutoff also have to go through a counselling round. Once selected, aspirants have to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the institute.

- 15% of the seats are for SC category candidates, 7.5% for ST, 27% for OBC (non-creamy layer), and 10% for EWS.
