A great place to study with scope for improvement.
Placements: The Department of Law at Jamia Millia Islamia provides decent opportunities for students who are willing to put in consistent effort. Unlike NLUs, placements are limited, and many students prefer litigation, judicial services, higher studies, or independent internships. Last year, only 5 to 6 students got placements one is in Luthra and Luthra, one is in CAM and more. The college regularly shares internship opportunities through the placement and internship cell. The professors who are the heads of the different academic committees encourage students to participate in moot courts, ADR competitions, legal aid activities, and research.
Infrastructure: The Department of Law at Jamia Millia Islamia has well-maintained classrooms, a good library with a wide collection of legal books, journals, and online databases like SCC, Manupatra, and Live Law. Wi-Fi is available in most academic areas. The campus is clean and has beautiful greenery, a sports complex, a health centre where free medical services are provided to students and canteens offering affordable food. The hostels are decent, with basic amenities like spacious rooms, a lift, Aro water, a reading hall, and a common hall with proper hygiene. The mess food is quite okay.
Faculty: Our faculty professors are qualified, knowledgeable, and generally supportive. The curriculum covers core subjects and provides a strong academic foundation, mostly, the Jamia curriculum tilts towards the judiciary, so it's best for students who wanna pursue the judiciary, though practical exposure depends on individual efforts. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and students who attend classes and pay attention usually pass without much difficulty.
Other: I chose law because I have always dreamed of studying law since 9th grade and wanted to build a career in the legal profession. The best part of the course is the strong academic environment, experienced faculty, and opportunities to participate in moots, ADR competitions, legal aid activities, and internships. Various cultural events and extracurricular activities are organised throughout the year. Like Rajasthan society, which organises Apnayat, and Kerala society also organises their fest every year and many more. I feel the college could improve placement opportunities and strengthen industry interaction by inviting more law firms and legal organisations for campus recruitment.

Quite dissatisfied with faculty, average placements in 2025, and a healthy environment.
Placements: If I talk about my course, which is B.Sc. Chemistry (Hons), 8 out of 50 students get placed in manufacturing companies. The highest package is around 7 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Almost everyone gets an internship because it is compulsory for us. The top roles offered are in Research and Development and Quality Control.
Infrastructure: Labs are well-equipped and well-maintained. The department is also good and totally worth it if you are coming here to study. Healthcare is free here. Sports participation is also very high.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified. They are from top IITs. The course curriculum is relevant for future academic preparation. Semester exams are on the easier side. The pass percentage is 40% in both internal and external examinations to pass the semester.
Other: The campus is very vibrant. Events and cultural fests are organized regularly. One thing that could be improved is the faculty, as they could be less biased. Every six months, athletics and various events are organized.

Best ROI. Fees are very low compared to other colleges in the country. You get exposure to Delhi.
Placements: About 40 percent of students are placed from computer engineering, and the other departments are even more or less. The highest package is of 21 LPA given by CDOT. On-campus internship opportunities are provided by the university but the number of students getting these internships is 3 to 4.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good with AC and a proper internet connection. The hostel has good infrastructure compared to other colleges. We are given non-vegetarian food 4 times a week and the mess is above average. The library is air-conditioned and well-ventilated. The room is shared by three people.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable. Some of them have done their Master's from abroad. They are ready to help you. The course curriculum is not up to date as in NITs. So student lack the required industry skills they have to learn by themself. Exams are easy to pass with a passing mark of 40 percent.
Other: Campus is located in the centre of South Delhi. You get plenty of food restaurants nearby.

3.0Placements1.0Infrastructure3.0Faculty5.0Crowd & Campus Life5.0Value for Money
Average infrastructure. You can find average washrooms with dirty mirrors, like government college.
Placements: Almost 100% of students got placed based on their approach. Placements were based on the candidates' capabilities, and students got better opportunities according to their skills. Students continuously applied for internships in May because almost every internship intake ended by the end of May. They also tried to crack the entrance examinations for better opportunities.
Infrastructure: Classes were not properly allotted. Students had to find empty classrooms and ask teachers to conduct classes there. Wi-Fi was good, but the Biochemistry labs were just running without much focus. Students were not able to perform experiments on their own. The library was excellent and had a large collection of books.
Faculty: The college passed almost everyone by giving assignments and promoting students. Teachers were always busy and allotted classes based on their free time. Class timings changed from early morning to 4 p.m., depending on their availability. Classes were not mandatory. Most of the promises existed only on paper and in the admission brochure.
Other: I switched to Jamia Hamdard because it was much better for the same course. I would recommend applying to other institutions for the same course.

B.Tech in Electrical Engineering at FET Jamia Millia Islamia.
Placements: The placement rate of the Engineering and Technology of Jamia Millia Islamia is really great. It has high ROI (Return on Investment) rates. The average package of B.Tech campus placement is around 5 LPA for each course at least.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is really great, but the negative point is that the point system for deciding the hostel criteria they have extra 5 points for seniority, i.e., 1st year students are behind the seniors, so it's really hard to get a hostel as a 1st year student.
Faculty: Each year is divided into 2 semesters, and each semester contains 2 mid-semester exams and an end-of-semester exam. If we have 5 units in syllabus, 2 units come in 1st mid-semester, then 2 more in the 2nd mid-semester, and then the whole 5 units come in the end-of-semester exam. Mid-semester exams are 1 hour, and end-of-semester exams are 3 hours.
Other: I didn't actually choose this course, it was on my 4th preference out of 8, but it's not bad. It's really good to pursue. The course fee of regular B.Tech courses is about Rs. 20,000 per annum.

Nice faculty, good syllabus, and beautiful campus as well.
Placements: It doesn't offer any campus placement here, but a placement coordinator is surely there. I do not know if they are not okay with giving the placement in the campus in this course, then why is there any place committee or advisory, maybe they would be giving in the Master's. There are good campus placements in other courses.
Infrastructure: Very beautiful, soothing, green, and peaceful campus, anyone would really love to be here. Talking about technical things, I'd say it has everything a good educational institute would need, reasonable canteens, non-vegetarian and vegetarian food both being available in hostel mess and canteen, big libraries, and each faculty has its own library too.
Faculty: Undoubtedly I can say the faculty is too nice and helpful, though some professors seem arrogant and unwilling, but mostly are nice-behaved and helpful in nature. Also, they have a nice curriculum after NEP which allows us to choose anything, like if we are from the department of engineering, we can still choose Computer Science as our minor.
Other: I chose this course because it was my passion to choose literature as a major.
