Yes, JMI offers both BSc and BSc (Hons) programmes across four and five specialisations, respectively. The admission process for both these programmes is conducted through JMI entrance test and the final selection of candidates is based on their performance in previous qualifying degree exams, performance in the entrance test and seat availability. But before everything else, students must meet the minimum eligibility requirements set by the university which is passing Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate with a relevant combination of subjects, such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and/ or Biology, among others.

Yes, Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) is avialable in Jamia Millia Islamia. Candidates need to pass Class twelve examination with mandatory subject from a recognised Board or University (50% is not compulsory).

The university released its prospectus for admissions in March with the schedule for admission to courses accepting national-level and university-level entrance exams. For last year, the closing rank for BTech in Computer Engineering was 7216 which is very close to this range. This was for the General category under the All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however, the cut-offs keep changing year after year, it's advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission to the BTech in Computer Engineering course offered at the Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI).

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For General category under All India, opening rank was 15851 and closing rank was 15851. The JMI Entrance Exam Cutoff 2025 has been published for all rounds. According to the JMI Delhi cutoff 2025,  for the General category candidates under the Home State quota, the cutoff ranged from 62.75 and 63.75 percentile in the first round closing cutoff, wherein  BSc (Hons) in Geography was the toughest course for admission, followed by BA (Hons) in Geography , with the cutoff in the first round being, 63.75, 63.25 and 63.25, respectively. The cutoff in the last round for the same above mentioned courses was the same as the first round closing cutoffs.
