If the marks in written test are same then date of birth criteria is used that is, candidates older in age is given a higher rank. For the BTech, BArch and BDS programmes, the rank of the candidate is allotted by the agency conducting the test.

Jamia Millia Islamia University will release JMI entance exam cut off 2026 after entrance exam is concluded. The cut off list of JMI will have category & course-wise list of marks based on which candidates can participate in the counselling process, list of documents that a candidate must bring during counselling, and selected candidates' details such as roll number, registration number, application number and number of course preferences.

Once JMI entrance exam is over, the university will announce JMI entrance exam result 2026, along with cut off list of provisionally selected candidates list at admission.jmi.ac.in.
