
JMI Entrance Exam Pattern 2025: The Jamia Millia Islamia University (JMI) prescribes the JMI Entrance Exam Pattern for each course keepin in mind the parameters on which they wish to select candidates. As per the exam pattern of the JMI entrance exam 2025, the B.A. Hons (Mass Media), will be of 100 marks out of which part A will be of 40 marks while part B will be of 60 marks. For the M.A. (Mass Communications) paper part A will hold 120 marks while part B will consist of Interview and Portfolio that hold 45 and 55 marks respectively.
The time duration of this exam will be 3 hours. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer for MCQs in all programs at the JMI University. Candidates obtaining less than 15% marks in the Multiple Choice questions will not be shortlisted for interview/ admission.
