JMI Entrance Exam MTech Admit Card 2026: Download Hall Ticket Here

For the 2026-27 admissions, JMI will release the JMI Entrance Exam admit card for different courses a few days before the exam date. Candidates can download the admit card using their login credentials. After downloading the admit card, candidates have to take two printouts of it.

If a candidate forgets his/her JMI login password, it can be retrieved by following below steps:

• Visit official JMI Entrance Exam website 
• Click on JMI Entrance Exam tab
• Click on Forgot Password link under User Login tab.
• Enter applicant name, email and date of birth 
• A password reset link will be given on registered email. Enter a new password using the link.
• Login with new password.

Yes, candidates can submit their objections against the JMI answer key within 48 hours after the same is published through electronic means. Candidates are required to pay INR 500 per programme to challenge the answer key. No grievance is entertained by the university without the payment of fee. The examination authority also do not entertain any requests submitted after the expiry of the time frame. Hence, candidates should raise their objections within the stipulated time.

The cutoff for JMI Entrance Exam will be released along with the JMI exam result or the scorecard. Candidates can know whether their scored marks is above the cut off score or not by logging in at result link.

Candidates are advised to take a coloured printout of JMI entrance test admit card. However, it is not compulsory as Jamia Millia Islamia has not given any guideline regarding this. A black and white admit card will also work if the details such as photograph and text is clearly visible.

During the counselling candidates are required to bring these documents: 
Registration Form, Admit Card, Two recent passport size photographs, Proof of Permanent Address with the name of the nearest police station and district, Proof of passing the qualifying examination along with the marksheets, Proof of Age, Character Certificate from the institution last attended, Certificate from a doctor or hospital certifying blood group, Category certificate (If applicable), Certificate/Affidavit from gazetted officer (in case of gap period), and Result of qualifying examination.

JMI entrance exam counselling 2026 will begin after the test is conducted and result is declared. The exam body may inform examinees about the counselling schedule on their contact details as provided during the applications. Candidates will have to appear for the counselling at the concerned department along with the relevant documents.

Yes, exam pattern of JMI entrance exam is important for candidates preparing for the test. The exam pattern includes details like number of questions, exam duration, total marks, question types, marking scheme, etc. These things help a candidate to formulate their study plan.

The difficulty level of JMI question paper is generally moderate level. The General Knowledge and Art, culture and literature sections of all the mass communication exam question paper can be termed easy to moderate whereas the descriptive section of the exam can be termed moderate in terms of difficulty level.
