The total number of seats available under the JNU Advanced Diploma programme is 25. Thus, only 25 students are selected for admission to this course. The selection is based on the candidate’s performance in the computer-based test. It must be noted that the seat intake mentioned here is as per past years' data. Hence, is indicative. Furthermore, in case of revision in the seat intake count, the same shall be updated on its official website (jnu.ac.in).

CAT application process for the current year has already been concluded. The exam has also been conducted. The results and answer key are expected to be released at the iimcat.ac.in website. The CAT 2026 registration dates are not announced yet.

Admission to Jawaharlal Nehru University BA (Hons) in Foreign Languages, BSc-MSc Integrated Programme in Ayurveda Biology and Certificate of Proficiencey (COP) courses is through CUET (UG). Only the aspirants with a valid score of CUET are eligible to take admission in these courses. Moreover, the application for the same has to be submitted by visiting the JNU admission portal. 

For JNU BSc course admission, the course aspirant should have passed Class 12 or any equivalent examination with a minimum 45% aggregate from a recognised board. Candidate should have passed the qualifying exam from a recognised board. It is also necessary that the student carry the educational document at the time of form filling and admission. The documents are required for verification purposes.

Jawaharlal Nehru University accepts CUET-UG and CUET-PG entrance test scores for admission to several undergraduate, postgraduate, certificate and PG Diploma courses. The University also accepts a few national-level entrance exam scores for admission to courses such as BTech, MBA, etc. For admission to BA (Hons.) in Foreign Languages, BSc-MSc Integrated programme in Ayurveda Biology and Certificate of Proficiency courses, JNU accepts CUET-UG scores. 

• The registration window for CUET UG for Jawaharlal Nehru University admission UG courses usually open by February. Further, the CUET UG is held between May and June.
