Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s degree (with Chemistry as one of the subjects) under the 10+2+3 pattern of education with the mentioned marks in the aggregate (or in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics combined), or in Chemistry Honors. Candidates are also eligible who have passed B.Tech. degree (or equivalent) in Chemical / Polymer / Petroleum Engineering with a CGPA of at least 6.0 out of 10.0 (or equivalent percentage). (Mentioned OBC category relaxation is for OBC: Non Creamy Layer candidates). SC/ST and Person with Disability (PWD) candidates who have passed the qualifying examination irrespective of their percentage of marks are eligible to appear in the Entrance Examination.

The total number of seats available under the JNU Advanced Diploma programme is 25. Thus, only 25 students are selected for admission to this course. The selection is based on the candidate’s performance in the computer-based test. It must be noted that the seat intake mentioned here is as per past years' data. Hence, is indicative. Candidates can reach out to the JNU admission office to confirm the seat reservation policy. Furthermore, in case of revision in the seat intake count, the same shall be updated on its official website (jnu.ac.in).
CAT application process for the current year has already been concluded. The exam has also been conducted. The results and answer key are expected to be released at the iimcat.ac.in website. The CAT 2026 registration dates are not announced yet.
Admission to Jawaharlal Nehru University BA (Hons) in Foreign Languages, BSc-MSc Integrated Programme in Ayurveda Biology and Certificate of Proficiencey (COP) courses is through CUET (UG).
