at Kerala University, Thiruvananthapuram

The University of Kerala is known as one of the top state-run universities of the country. It is ranked at 47 among the top Indian university and 24 under the university category as per the NIRF 2023 rankings. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has approved all the courses offered by KU. Moreover, it is also re-accredited by NAAC with an ‘A’ grade. Admission to the 2-year PG course is based on the merit obtained in the PG entrance exam conducted by the University of Kerala. The Kerala University KEAM BTech Cutoff 2025 was released for all categories and rounds for the students belonging to the Home State quota. For the OBC category, the closing cutoff in the last round ranged from 5467 to 67016, wherein Trinity Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering had the most competitive cutoff for admission to the BTech CSE course. On the other hand, the college which was the easiest for admission with the last round closing rank being 67016 was Trinity College of Engineering for B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering course.

The requirement of entrance exam varies course-wise. University of Kerala conducts an entrance exam for PG courses. For most of the UG programmes, admission is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. For MBA, the university accepts national or state-level entrance exams such as CAT,  CMAT and KMAT. Allahabad University offers admission to UG and PG programs across various specialisations, BTech courses like CSE, ECE, and Civil Engineering, Law courses like LLM are offered by the university through its affiliated colleges. For the Home State quota, the closing ranks for Allahabad University after 2 rounds of counselling stood at 4481 for Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering. Moreover, the Kerala University cutoff 2024 for LLM in Constitutional Law stood at 34 and 52 for Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram and Mar Gregorios College of Law for the General Home State category candidates. Candidates seeking admission to Allahabad University must have a valid score in KEAM in order to be eligible for further counselling rounds
