My dream came true.
Placements: The total batch is of 200 students, including both male and female, who are selected through an all-India level examination. It provides both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in various medical departments, and our college is ranked around 9000.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not so good; it is a very old college. The library facility in our college, which is common to all classrooms, is not so good. It is old, but the teaching is the best. The campus is all green. I think if you love greenery, then it is the best college to attend.
Faculty: Teachers are among the best in our college; they hold very responsible positions in the country. They make the topics so easy to understand that it becomes cakework. Many hard topics become very easy. They also explain the clinical topics in such a way that you learn everything very easily.
Other: Fest is celebrated every year in our college, which is known as Euphoria. The fee structure of our college is Rs. 24,000 for general students. Campus greenery is very good, and seniors are supportive.

Maybe the dream college you want.
Placements: There are 200 students in one batch, who are selected through the NEET UG examination, which is conducted at the national level. 5.5 years of course, including 4.5 years and one year of internship. After that, they are posted in rural areas for two years, or take NEET PG exam to pursue post graduation.
Infrastructure: Facilities are very good, we have a very good library, and the infrastructure is somewhat old. The campus is very good, with greenery all around. It is very refreshing and is away from the traffic. The hospital is separate. The hostel is a little bit old. The infrastructure is a little old and not so good...
Faculty: Internal exams are conducted throughout the year, and at the end of the year, a professional exam takes place. After passing that exam, we are promoted to the next year. Upon completion of 4.5 years, a one-year internship follows, during which students are paid a stipend.

Really beautiful campus and good infrastructure and faculty .
Placements: As KGMU is one of the prestigious medical colleges in India, the placement rate, or rather the PG selection rate, is very high. Approximately 200 students out of a batch of 250 get selected for PG as MD/MS. The salary in PG is around 1 lakh to 1 lakh 30 thousand per month. Many students from my college get selected at AIIMS Delhi, MAMC Delhi, and other renowned colleges in India. KGMU's PG selection rate is equivalent to AIIMS Delhi. After the final year of MBBS, there is a mandatory internship for all. Students are posted in each department for one month and learn important skills. The stipend during the internship is 12,500, which is low compared to AIIMS colleges.
Infrastructure: As I mentioned, KGMU is located in Lucknow, the capital of UP, which is known for its heritage. This is also reflected in my college. Our campus is very beautiful; it's more like a tourist place. The college has many modern facilities. There is the Kalam Center, a modern teaching block equipped with high-tech technologies. The apex testing centers and research labs are top-level in India. The hostel buildings are not so attractive because they were built in the 90s, but the facilities are good enough for a proper life. The food available at the hostel is very good in quality and value for money. You don't have to buy extra food from restaurants. The mess food is also of good quality. As we are in a medical college, there are no worries about medical facilities. There is an annual sports meet held every year with athletic events, cricket, football, and many other games. There is also an intercollege competition where participants come from other colleges. The playground has good lighting and grass.
Faculty: The KGMU faculty is very talented and experienced. All faculty members are ranked among the top doctors in India in their respective fields. I want to mention one of our alumni, Dr. Naresh Trehan, owner of the Medanta group of hospitals, who is also the personal doctor of our president. Our faculty is so skillful that they deliver every medical concept in an extraordinary way. The MBBS curriculum is relevant and essential to becoming a good doctor. Apart from terminal exams and award-leaving tests, there is a professional exam (semester exam) held every year at the end of the year, which is very demanding. The passing percentage is 50 percent, but all students who come here after clearing UP NEET with good marks can clear the exams.
Other: Since childhood, I have heard that doctors are like a shadow of God. So, in class 11, I decided to become a doctor, and after clearing UP NEET, I landed here at KGMU. As my college is prestigious and located in the capital of UP, there is a heavy patient load in OPD and IPD. The trauma center is the second largest in India, so you can learn many skills from the high patient load and the variety of diseases and clinical cases, which might be lacking in peripheral medical colleges. The powerful extravaganza event named Rhapsody is held every year at our college. Rhapsody is a 3-day event, and on the last day, we invite a celebrity for a star night. Our event, Rhapsody, is very famous among other medical colleges.

Review of KGMU - King George's Medical University.
Placements: Basically, package and placement depend, as some people opt for the job after MBBS and some pursue Neet PG specialization in any branch. Nearly 100% of the students were placed. The highest package will be 25 to 80 lakh per annum. Apollo hospitals, Max Healthcare, Fortis Hospital, Medanta Group, etc. are the top recruiters. An internship is mandatory in college itself for 1 year. Medical officers, senior consultants, junior residents, nursing officers, and paramedics are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is really awesome and unique; it includes both heritage-like buildings and modern multistory. Modern labs with the latest equipment and machines to meet the requirements of college. Our college has fully wi-fi enabled campus with huge play ground, basketball court, volleyball court, tennis court, etc.
Faculty: There are highly educated and well-experienced faculty. One of the top professors and tech staff is there. 4.5 years of MBA and 1 year of internship make the MBA graduates well experienced and trained, making them able to solve any emergency conditions. Yes, it is not very easy to pass a university exam; if you have studied, you will definitely pass the exam.
Other: It is the best course in the field of medicine. This course is primarily based on practical knowledge. It also uplifts your skills in communication and develops problem-solving skills.

I would recommend joining this college.
Placements: Everyone has to attend mandatory internships for 1 year. All students got government opportunities. Students have to serve a bond of 2 years after internships in which they get a high salary of Rs. 80,000 per month. There is a batch of 250 students in this college and the exposure it offers is extravagant.
Infrastructure: The hostel rooms are not up to the mark. The Kalam Centre where the classes are taking place is very good. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The sports facility is top-notch. It has a ground where sports week takes place. Our college has a swimming pool and an indoor badminton court.
Faculty: All teachers are well-qualified and very devoted to the education of future doctors whether it be MBBS or BDS courses. Semester exams are quite decent. They are excellent in determining who should proceed in becoming a doctor.

Q:   Can I get admission at KGMU in MBBS if my rank is between 10000 and 30000?
    A:

KGMU NEET UG cutoff 2024 has been released for various courses in the form of opening and closing ranks. KGMU cutoff 2024 ranged between, 2059 and 29714 for the General AI category candidates, wherein, the most competitive course with the lowest ranks needed is MBBS (2059). Considering the NEET UG Round 3, students cannot get admission for MBBS course at KGMU with a cutoff rank between 10000 and 30000 under unreserved category, however, apart from MBBS, students can prefer BDS at a lenient cutoff rank of 29714. Q:   Is it hard to get admission to MBBS course at KGMU?
    A:

The fact that KGMU is the only government medical school in the state of Uttar Pradesh to receive the NAAC A+ grade, admission to the MBBS programme there can be considered challenging. According to the KGMU NEET UG cutoff 2024, the general quota candidates' round three closing ranks fell between 2059 and 29714, indicating the competition for a seat in the programme. Another factor that proves getting admission to the MBBS course is tough is the admission process for the MBBS course in KGMU is conducted through the Uttar Pradesh State Counselling, where candidates have to register and participate in the counselling process based on their NEET scores and ranks. Therefore, it is important to score well in the NEET exam to have a chance of getting admission to the MBBS course at KGMU.

However, candidates with good preparation can easily get a seat in the programme with their relevant scores in the entrance examination and counselling.
