LPU MBA Eligibility & Highlights 2025
LPU MBA is a two-year course divided into four semesters. The university offers an MBA in five specialisations. It also offers an MBA International Credit Transfer Option Programme. Additionally, the university also offers MBAs in online and distance education modes through the LPU Centre for Distance & Online Education. Eligibility Criteria:
- A pass in graduation with at least 55% aggregate or completed Company Secretary (CS) from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or Chartered Accountancy (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) is required to apply for LPU MBA course.
- BTech/ BE (any discipline)/ BSc (PCM)/ BSc (Maths)/ BA (Economics/ Math/ Statistics)/ BCom / BBA / BCA degree with at least 55% aggregate is required to apply for MBA Business Analytics.
NOTE: 5% to North-East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/Wards of Kashmiri Migrants.

LPU MBA Admission Dates 2025
LPU admission generally begins in January every year. Lovely Professional University conducts the National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to its various programmes. It is conducted online every year for admission to more than 150 programmes. LPU MBA Admission 2025: How to Apply?
Candidates seeking admission to the PG course should check out the eligibility and selection details. The LPU admission cycle begins with the registration process followed by selection rounds and counselling. Below are the steps for LPU MBA admissions:
Step 1: LPU MBA Application Process 2025
The exam fee for LPUNEST is INR 1,000 for males and INR 500 for females. The 'Take Admission' option is now available to all applicants. This means that candidates can qualify for admission through the LPUNEST/ interview process either before or after submitting their application for an MBA. Candidates are required to follow the below-mentioned steps to fill out the LPU application form:
Step 1.1: Visit the official website of LPU, https://www.lpu.in/, and click on the ' Apply Now' tab at the top of the web page.
Step 1.2: Register on the official admission portal of LPU i.e. LPUADMIT (admission.lpu.in) with basic details such as name, email-id, mobile no., state, gender and password). The email ID used during registration will act as the username for the portal and the password needs to be set by the candidate while registering. Candidates can continue to apply for LPUNEST (for scholarship purposes).
Step 1.3: Upload the requisite documents.
Step 1.4: Pay the application fee and hit the submit button to complete the application process.

Step 2: Slot Booking
This step is applicable only to the candidates appearing for LPU NEST. In LPUNEST slot booking, aspirants need to select an exam date and a shift for appearing in the exam. There are two ways to book the slot that are slot booking by the candidate and slot booking by the authorities of Lovely Professional University.
Step 3: Selection Rounds
The university conducts LPUNEST to shortlist candidates for MBA admission. LPU also accepts national-level entrance exams like CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ NMAT for shortlisting aspirants for MBA courses. The selected candidates are further called for group discussion and personal interview rounds.
Step 3: Admission Confirmation
After completion of the selection rounds, shortlisted candidates for MBA are further called for a document verification round. Aspirants need to confirm their seats by paying the MBA course fee. The LPU MBA tuition fee ranges between INR 1.6 lakh - INR 14 lakh. In addition, the hostel charges are up to INR 2.2 lakh. This fee amount is as per the official website/sanctioning body. LPU MBA 2025 FAQs
Candidates can download their LPU NEST 2026 admit card after booking the exam slots. The admit card will be available on the official website. The admit card is a mandatory document to be taken for the exam. If candidates choose to book their LPU NEST slot for 2026 on their own, their LPU NEST 2026 admit card will be generated immediately. However, if Lovely Professional University books the slot for the candidates, the LPU NEST hall ticket 2026 will be generated 48 hours after the application form is received. However, all applications received before the start date of the slot booking will be processed only when the Online Slot Management is activated.
LPU admission to MBA is based on LPUNEST, CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT or NMAT score followed by GDPI. Candidates must pass graduation with at least 55% aggregate or completed CS from the ICSI or CA from the ICAI or CMA from ICAI to apply for LPU MBA course. After completion of the selection rounds, candidates need to pay a fee to confirm their seat. The total fee for LPU MBA course ranges between INR 1.60 lakh and INR 10 lakh.
