LPU M.Des admissions 2026 are open. Additional updates are below:
- The NIFT 2026 Stage 1 result has been announced for the MDes course. Further, the stage 2 examination results will also be published soon.
- The CEED 2026 results for the MDes programme have been released. Students can access and download their scorecard until Jul 31, 2026, by logging in to the official website.
- The NID DAT 2026 Mains result has been published on the official site for the MDes course. Along with the result, the Round 1 seat allotment is also out. The deadline to upload documents and pay the seat confirmation fee is May 7, 2026.
- Last date of hostel with EDB at LPU has been extended till 15th May 2026.
LPU MDes Eligibility & Highlights 2026
In the field of Architecture and Design, LPU offers a full-time MDes programme for a duration of two years. Master of Design (MDes) programme at LPU is offered in five specialisations as tabulated below along with their specialisation-wise eligibility criteria. LPU admissions to this programme are based on LPUNEST/ CEED/ NIFT Entrance Exam/ NID Entrance Exam scores. The minimum eligibility is as follows:

LPU does not offer direct admission. However, admission to few courses is merit-based. Aspirants scoring a 65% aggregate have a good chance of getting admission in LPU. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the university to apply online. To apply for LPU, aspirants need to register for LPUNEST for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. LPU admission to most of the courses is based on LPUNEST score. However, national-level entrance exam scores are also accepted for admission to BA LLB (Hons), MBA, BTech, etc. Candidates must complete Class 12 for UG courses and graduation for PG courses. The selection rounds are followed by counselling and document verification.
LPU NEST application form fee for a soft copy of the LPU NEST 2026 Kit is INR 1000 for boys and girls. The printed copy of the LPU NEST Kit is available for INR 1500 for boys and girls. The application fee can be paid online if the application form is filled out online. The application fee can be given as a demand draft if the application form is submitted offline. If the DD is not enclosed or DD is wrongly drawn, the application form will not be accepted. The application fee has to be paid to submit the application form.
