The total fee for BTech range from INR 4.5 lakh -INR 36 lakh. The fee is calculated based on the semester fee. Admission to BTech course is based on LPUNEST or CUET UG score. After completion of the selection rounds, shortlisted aspirants need to pay the course fee to confirm their admission. Candidates are first required to register with an application fee for LPUNEST. The exam fee for LPUNEST is INR 1,000 for males and INR 500 for females.
After completing MCA from LPU, students are open to multiple jobs. The salary offered to various job profiles depends on the entry-level as well the experience and skills of the professionals. Lovely Professional University offers a four-year BDes programme spread across eight semesters. The university offers LPU at UG level in eight specialisations, namely User Experience, Interior & Furniture, etc. Apart from regular BDes, LPU also offers lateral entry to the programme. LPU offers admission to BTech based on LPUNEST. Candidates apply for BTech CSE Software Product Engineering need to pass KQ test followed by a PI round. Additionally, candidates need to pass Class 12 in relevant subjects to apply for BTech course. After completion of the selection rounds, candidates need to pay a fee to confirm their seat.
Students should pass BCA or BSc Computer Science or BSc IT or have any graduation degree with computer Science as a course with at least 60% marks to apply for MCA course. Students BA, BSc or BCom degree with Mathematics and allied subjects at Class 12 are eligible to apply. Admission is done basis LPUNEST score.
The test centre based LPUNEST phase 6 exam is scheduled from August 4 to 20, 2026.
LPUNEST phase 5 exam was scheduled between July 6-31, 2026.
LPUNEST 2026 phase 4 exam started on June 6 for both test centre and remote-proctored mode. The last exam date was June 30.
The LPU NEST phase 3 exam 2026 started remote proctored exam and test centre exam on May 4, 2026. Exam last date was May 20, 2026.

LPU accepts LPUNEST score for admission to MCA and MCA Hons courses. LPUNEST exam is conducted online every year for admission to MCA and other courses. The test is as an Entrance Test and Scholarship Test. Scholarship amount is determined by the marks and rank obtained by students in the exam. The exam duration is 2.5 hours. The test comprises 125 questions of 500 marks. Students also need to complete graduation to get admission to MCA.
Yes, Class 12 or equivalent examination are considered for eligibility fulfilment in the UG programmes of LPU. However, the selection criteria is entrance-based. Candidates have to take the LPU National Entrance and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST), in order to get admission. The selection is not directly based on Class 12 scores.

LPU does not offer direct admission. However, admission to few courses is merit-based. Aspirants scoring a 65% aggregate have a good chance of getting admission in LPU. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the university to apply online. To apply for LPU, aspirants need to register for LPUNEST for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. LPU admission to most of the courses is based on LPUNEST score. However, national-level entrance exam scores are also accepted for admission to BA LLB (Hons), MBA, BTech, etc. Candidates must complete Class 12 for UG courses and graduation for PG courses.
